Damn I remember watching Brett years ago

He was totally fine and healthy until he married that gold digging sloot

Looking back, withdrawal is really scary. As a binge drinker you learn how to handle it and function and how bad it will be if you drink X amount but the effect it has on your body is insane. Absolutely insane. I understand why some would continue to drink to never get to those symptoms which is why it’s a slow death

Never looking back. Never want to go through that again. Most substances the thought that you could pass out and never wake up, no thanks man.
You sound like me. I’m totally a binge drinker. I can go months without drinking but maybe a song or a moment in the weather reminds me of a day I was drinking and happy. I’ll start and then drink nonstop for 2.5 days. You learn all of the tricks to come down but the thought of that feeling afain is scary enough to not go there. I still drink but cut myself off although I can picture myself buying thousands of dollars worth of booze and just drinking until I die. I remember a long time ago I had lost my job and had nothing to do so I drank nonstop for 2 weeks. When I say nonstop I don’t mean just the evenings. I mean I woke up and started and did it all day until I slept. I remember one evening I went to get out of bed where I had passed out and I couldn’t. I had a pistol in the closet and I was so sick that I could not even crawl to it to end my life. I remember it started to storm and I managed to crawl outside and sit in the rain. I felt like the devil I was so ducked up. I was screaming all sorts of foreign crazy stuff. I was hallucinating!! It was pure horrid. I remember for days I could barely curl 10 lbs. it sone me up quick but every now and then I’ll get super pie hole faced. I realize now that most other people don’t do that. I guess it’s in my blood and nothing I can do about it

def not. just more destructive. I'd prefer it if in a civilized area so they're not violent or dangerously unhealthy.

Interesting, Christopher Hitchens also died of eso****eal cancer. Alcoholic as well.

That was Lawrence. Bret had a wife that was his high school sweetheart. She pressured him to make more money like all their rich Tampa neighbors so he started drinking more to take the edge off until it was about 15 drinks a day.

Hard to decide which one was sadder. Both seemed like good dudes. Lawrence was the first to die on Intervention so it was shocking, but Bret’s kids screaming and crying and his family yelling and chasing him home was unforgettable as well.

Yeah all 3 died of some sort of eso****eal death. 2 from cancer, and Lawrence died from eso****eal varices. Blood can’t flow through your liver anymore so the veins in your eso****us swell and burst and you vomit out a deadly amount of blood in your body. What a shame and sad way to die.

I remember there was some chick who would drink tons of vodka and dance naked on her bed. That’s about how I was after 43 beers

I work in toxicology for a company who makes this and people drinking it is factored into the formulation. I thought they were havin' a giggle at first.

I didn’t follow it religiously but I remember Seeing it. She acted just like I did and would be gone but I can’t explain it. I love that feeling of just drinking nonstop and adding pain pills even makes it better.

Lol I remember that episode I actually just re watched it some months ago when I was binge watching Intervention. It was one of the first episodes way back in like 2006.

She was nuts, and would fist fight with her sister when she would come to check up on her. Her dad was letting her stay rent free at some storage room he had attached to a house he was renting out lol.

All she did all day was smoke meth, and drink vodka like you said then get naked, and start drawing on the walls saying random chit and ranting about jesus.

She had the sloot flirting game down too she didn't even have to spend money to get booze. She would walk to the liquor store flirt with some alcoholic boomers..trick them and say she will come back to their place if they buy her liquor, and then when she got it make some excuse she has to go lol then start running away lmao.

I remember her parents and interventionist told her to either pick rehab or jail, and she picked jail lol.

Alcohol is absolute chit for you, and your life will probably be much better if you cut it out completely. I still drink sometimes, but I’m under no illusion that it’s enhancing the quality of my life. It’s a vice like any other.

No disagreement here, looking forward to some drinks and steak tonight. That was more aimed towards that whole idea of “I’m going to drink a glass of wine for my heart health every night. Maybe a mimosa on Sunday morning because I’m so bad”. Nope, I’m drinking because it feels good now, and having one glass of wine is a waste of alcohol. And fuk mimosas.

i thought about this a few days ago cause the person i was with was high. and they were talking about it

idk, i dont think people hate the open mindedness some of them bring, but i do think different chemicals are different. so, i guess the system we have now is pretty good. a problem with some of them is the strength and then how addicting they become. maybe not the actual mechanisms of the chemical

i mean really, i think people should be able to do what they want. but it would be pretty bad to have a large % of the population hooked on something simply due to how powerful the chemical is

ive done a few other things in my life. but im honestly like a virgin in regard to that stuff. i drank for the first time in months a few weeks ago at a wedding. i do think that alcohol impairs you in the now less than other stuff

less of an "altered state" i'd say

This thread caused me to get bees tonight. I could work tomorrow but I do t have to. I start a new job Thursday too. I’ll probably be back to 70 hour weeks but the thought of that chick made me want a part of that feeling again. Sounds crazy. I even had a good workout earlier. I decided there’s no point in going over 250 in my lifts anymore but I’m squatting 250 ten times easily. I don’t see too many guys doing that

Alcohol
Is what let me off drugs. I tried all of it but what was weird is one day I tripped acid with sone people. I went absolutely crazy. Like it made me violent! I was thinking what am I doing with my life? I felt. I weak and my body and mind had been taken over by evil! I was shouting at people what have we done!! Everyone was freaking out at how violent I became and they actually left me at a river by myself. I tripped alone all night and enjoyed it but after that I quit everything. Like it woke me up. No smoking no drinking nothing for years. My friends all did the opposite. They got addicted to crack and meth. They used to pawn their things to me to get drugs. I use to drive them to trap houses ahx knew all the homies that sold drugs. They were cool thst I didn’t do them. In fact most drug dealers I know in the hood are straight sober. They like those white dudes and their hoes addicted. I just enjoy beers and pumping iron.
