Proceed carefully. May be a disc from the sounds of it. You are beginning to enter snap city, so slow down and evaluate everything.

Ibuprofen may help along with ice and laying on your stomach.

It's like 400 dollars in Turkey or Mexico, but my point was that there's really no quick way to know for sure and it could be a disc or it could be a strain.

Lots of the exercises recommend itt are good. I found being on all fours and flexing and extending my back helped.

If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen.

so ive done this a few times and im pretty decent at fixing them now

this is my protocol

anti inflams straight away follow the recommend daily usage on the packet

rest for a few days and just use anti inflams and heat/ice on it

once it feels a little better start doing MCCGILL 3, look it up.

Make sure you stay away from any hinge type pattern movements like back extensions or deadlifts you need to bend the other way so the disc can go back to where it was.

after a few weeks it should feel much better, then you can start incorporating weighted bird dogs and LOTS of planking/core work.

then you can go back to hinge type pattern movements slowly and low weight.

avoid surgery you dont want them digging around in your spine unless you have to, its most likely a buldged disc/bad sprain.
