College professors (aka Teachers), esp those of the adjunct variety.
Went to school with a few guys like this. Every time they have a point to make, they brag about how educated and intellectual they are. Of course a few years prior they were desperate for work, in debt $50k, and would take anything resembling a teaching gig that landed on their lap.
Fighter pilots
WW2 ended 78 years ago. I like the Top Gun and Iron Eagle movies, but how often are there "dogfights" now irl?

6 year program costs $250k - finish at 24
3 year residency program pays $60k - finish at 27
27+ = official MD making $200-250k starting
How is that poorly paid? The debt can be finished by the time they hit 30.
I do agree that doctors aren't that smart though.

Neurosurgeons make around 650, but that is after a 7 year residency on top of med school and possibly further specialization for vascular, etc.
Most people don't even start med school until 26 I think.

You're definitely right about law. A lot of people with law degrees don't work as lawyers.

Competitive salaries for docs are higher than military. Most often, the nicer quality of life = lower salary since unpleasant places need to offer high salaries to attract physicians.
Job security for physicians is high, which is probably worth 200k+ per year in big tech terms where average tenure is like <5 y

Professors without a doubt. Every opinion they hold, even outside of their fields, they treat as gospel. It's also becomes an intellectual circle jerk when they get together and start talking politics

Most epidemiologists are just people who got biology degrees but couldn’t get into medical school, so they work at the health department. Essentially they spend all their time in excel no different than accountants.

I don't think I'd put nurses on the list. Most tend to be good people doing a job that can really suck. The best nurse I've seen helped my wife (who's a nurse) give birth. The nurses who helped my mom when she was dying from cancer were awesome as well.
