fair enough it just seems kinda cucked leaving it up to some "doctor" to decide what you can and can't put into your body.

I take "Calm" a well known magnesium supp.

Helps me with getting to sleep and it supposedly can help with anxiety if you're consistent with it... but I always forget to drink it at night. Need to get into a solid routine.

Well I do have a stress free life. Fully retired and I get plenty of exercise but to be fair I only take my bp when I’m totally and 100% relaxed and chill. Not sure if I should be taking it after a workout or walk etc but I never do.

Magnesium is the best supplement I've ever taken. Not only did it help with my mood and my sleep, but I used to suffer from bad migraines, sometimes up to 3 times a week, excruciating. I've been taking magnesium citrate for a year now and I've had maybe 3 migraines in that time and they're far less intense. Lifesaver.

I take ZMA daily. I use SNAC brand ZMA which is magnesium oxide. Is there a better combo? Glycinate?
My BP is 120/80. Im 40yrs old, 6'1, 210lbs. I was having immune system issues previous to taking ZMA and a D3/K supplement. Much improved now.

I think i can't even get nervous now, lol. No joke.

I think it fixed any anxiety (normal or not), BP low even in the doctor when i hated that chit...

I take some basic ''500mg magnesium'' with citrate and oxide, even. Nothing fancy.

I think it takes a while to feel the effects, magnesium takes or might take a while to build up in the body. May be wrong, just something i remember reading.

I would say to anyone to try it and use for a few weeks or even months, you'll end up buying a fair few pills either way to try it. It might change your life.

vit d is important

magnesium helps if you relax if you drank coffee. chelated so you actually absorb it.

Calcium undoes the relaxation if you need to wake back up.

Do the requirements scale by bodyweight/bodyfat?

I read that even though it says like 100mg 200mg, whatever, you're really only getting like 20 something mg of elemental magnesium...So I don't know what to think.

Indeed.
L-threonate is like taking a mild antianxiety med

Some people take 1000mg and don't feel side effects

That was the SNAC guy who got all the baseball players in trouble.

Was on the Rogan podcast back when he was doing it in his basement.

Literally just bought a new bottle of ZMA a few days before this thread popped up. I thought that was enough magnesium if I was missing any, but maybe I am wrong?
