Yep lol that's what I'm scared of happening with my "girlfriend"

Should I just block her off everything and run?

How long have you been with her for? The mistake I made with mine was sticking around way too long. If you can get out before you're super attached and the real crazy happens, it's perfect. But for me she changed so abruptly after I was already super attached, so it really fuked me up for like 9 months after.

If you can enjoy the good and break it off before she flips, it's the best thing ever.

TBF while women are more often labeled BPD men are more often labeled APD...for NPD I'm not sure either sex has an edge on prevalence.

A lack of whole object relations.

As far as attitudes in the psychology community, yes, BPD women were widely despised and written off as a lost cause for a long time. Maybe partially due to the label "BPD" getting pasted on to any female person who was especially mentally ill in an active way [self-harm, addiction, highly promiscuous, emotionally labile, etc.]. I think until the personality disorders were more strictly defined it was a sort of "junk drawer" diagnosis.

There is hope with new types of therapy like DBT, attachment centered therapy, and therapy that is generally "trauma aware" and sensitive to not re-traumatizing the patient.

Not someone you want to date though unless you enjoy the intensity and danger and aren't bothered about the "extras" that come with it.

So, ignore them and stick to people with fathers because it is needed for stability?

Yes. Worst time of my life srs

The sex is crazy but ffs.. everything is perfect one day then absolute misery the next. BPD women seem to have this never ending energy to destroy everything in your life, and there is no *if* it happens- its *when* it happens. IT WILL happen. You're gonna make a small mistake at some point and then the nuclear bomb will be deployed. You will not be able to sauve your way out of it, were talking absolute mental insanity here, there is no rational thought behind their destruction. After it ends they will try to worm their way back to normal again.. but its a cycle that repeats over and over.

Yeah, I actually do they can change. It's not a completely lost cause at all.

But if they are higher functioning and it's mixed with NPD, they actually don't show much interest in changing. The girl I dated was very high functioning, and she was a super effective manipulator. She was really good at using sexuality to get things out of men.

I had a lot of fun for a while, but was also an absolute mess for like 6 months after we broke up. It was a situation I have zero interest in ever repeating.

It's been 3 months together, she's ghosted me 4-5x but I was usually able to get her back, this time it's been 10 days without talking

Maybe she doesn't even have BPD, who knows man, she has never verbally attacked or insulted me like a lot of people here are saying they do

That's exactly what my "girlfriend" is doing right now. She is extremely mad at me for not being the most consistent with dates but I've been so good in all other areas. It sucks that she just disappeared from my life.

To be honest I've seen a lot of "BPD" horror stories that have changed my mind about her. If someone truly believes you are the worst person ever (splitting) then what are they willing to do to you?

Do you think I should just block and never look back?

Many of the lies she made up about me got her smacked silly
I believe it. I dated a BPD girl for a year and it was the craziest year of my life. It was literally a full time job trying to shake this girl without her destroying my entire life and reputation- nothing was off limits for her when she was splitting.

Any time I tried to NC or didnt pay attention she went CRAZY. I couldnt get rid of her. What finally worked was I started to figure out that she hated when I simped for her (turned her off like it does most women) so I just went FULL SIMP MODE and love bombed her 24/7 and acted like a total bish till she eventually got bored of me. Bro I was texting her good morning I love u etc and good night etc, hey u there? where u at? literally up her azz constantly. Then I friendzoned her for a few months then went NC. Was like a fking bond movie.

I was with a BPD woman for 15 years and married for 6 years. Basically wrote off the entire 18-33 part of my life, which for most people is the highlight but for me was misery, confusion and fear. Kinda lucky to still be alive. When I finally escaped it felt like I respawned like in a game with a second life I didn't realise I was going to get.

Well I've posted about it before. Once I started showing kindness she dumped me. I would just surprise her with Uber Eats for treating me well. She dumped me because I had a cold sore and she was like "YOU HAVE THE HERPS".

Besides she showed strong lack of empathy, such as making fun of my weight gain (which was actually on purpose as I'm a weightlifter), joked how she would choose to save humanity and kill me (Ded fkn SRS) and later apologize for the joke and berate me for little things.

Sex was the best I've had but I'm sure I haven't had the best yet. It's just a PR, but all PRs are meant to be beaten.

There will be a PR I won't be able to beat and hopefully that's the one I marry. But this ol' chap ain't done yet. (I'm 29.)

No offense, but reread the bolded and you already know the answer. Sounds pretty pathetic that you are working that hard and it's only been 90 days!

EDIT: Not trying to be a dik, it's just that obvious from the outside looking in. You're already 10 days into moving on. Keep moving forward!

Men who have BPD are in jail or dead.

Women with BPD are in relationships with simps who think they can save them.

Claimed her ex was abusive but could never mention how.

3 months in, started abusing me.

A married woman I used to mess with was Bi-Polar. Never dealt with BPD. I never liked calling women crazy just because they feel emotions differently. I just learned to adapt. I could bring her down by asking questions and trying to understand what she was feeling. I understood that "calm down" just made things worse for everyone.

So it doesn't sound like you're super attached, I'd probably block her at this point. After 3 months, you're probably getting tired of her anyways?

Yes I was in a group of BPDs for a year as I'm in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and that's what is supposed to help them cope with their strong emotions.

I'm not diagnosed as BPD, though. I went for eating disorder treatment. I was the only one in there who wasn't on disability, cutting herself or doing drugs so I felt surprisingly normal.

You can live with BPD with DBT as medication doesn't really help BPDs but medication really helps bipolar disorder.

It's tough as men get addicted to BPD women since they usually are very attractive, the sex is great, and she love bombs him into craving her.

The first portion of our group talked about how personality disorders are a mixture of environment and one's emotional genetics. In other words, nature and nurture.

I know that both of my grandmothers were super anxious and I inherited that, but then my life choices made me even more anxious.

I ended up blocking her. It's crazy how much she has manipulated me, I actually feel guilty for doing it.

I know logically this is the best thing I could do though. Pray for me, I hope this bitch doesn't appear back in my life.

My mistake was going out on on a weekend trip with my boss, who was known was a womaniser.
For the next 3 years she literally brought it up every argument even though it happened after 3 months of us being together
