The US government isn't perfect but it's far from tyrannical, and one aspect of tyranny is to ignore (alleged) crimes committed by the elite/ruling class.
So yes, it's okay for the US Gov to do this within our established justice system. Unlike the regular people who he is supposedly speaking for, Trump will enjoy limo rides to his day in court on the people's dime. So fuk him if he broke laws the rest of us would be quietly disposed of for breaking. To me that's the opposite of tyranny.

I know for a fact hardcock and ironfelix, two amazing posters who have been unceremoniously banned for no reason, have explained it in detail in other threads. There is an entire executive order about it.
