The campaign is interesting the way they did it, everything is in engine like in the game, no cut scenes, you play everything. It can be a little tedious, the story has a ton of just conversation you have to click through. But they made it so you can sort of fast forward and still read the conversations if you leave subtitles on. Speeds up the boring parts for sure. But the story is pretty dope.

Cyberpunk world is absolutely top tier, the world is detailed af.

Graphics are insane

Very well worth a revisit, muuuuuuch more polished up then when I played at launch.

looking Forwardto the dlc.

This game makes me want to get a 4090 and oled ultrawide
Damn you made my hyped

Meh,

I can't get over how brainless the NPC are. Once you go Rockstar, there's no going back.

I played it at launch on PS4. It felt like I was having fun despite the game trying to make me hate it. Eventually decided to wait until they fixed it. After that big patch, It actually ran and I could do melee combat without dropping under 15fps n chit. The world itself could d for a bit more NPC interaction, and more buildings to go into, but it's overall really goodnow. Then playing it next gen was a new level of prettiness.

When this DLC drops, I'll probably finish the campaign. Currently at the point of no return with some side quests still left to do.
I'm back, bitches!

This game has so much potential for a Dystopian Cyberpunk game, its crazy. Rockstar & Eidos-Montréal are the only devs who would have to do it to truly satisfy our thirst. Rockstar may never go that route, but Eidos may do so and here's to hoping they do. Deux Ex was better than Cyberpunk 2077 in a lot of aspects IMO

So if we really want the debauchery, we need to be on the lookout for what Eidos is doing.

A Cyberpunk Rockstar game would be so good. It's like if the Rockstar NPC formula could combine with a branching story and RPG mechanics, it would be the ultimate open world game.

I don't know, I doubt Rockstar. But then GTA 5 came out 10 years ago, so their system could be way more vast. I feel like Edios will make the better Cyberpunk game seeing as they already had Deus Ex.

Whoever has the better NPC and environment would win.

Anyone who still hasn't tried the game because they're letting dumb fk youtubers or some random tell them not to is a 100% fool. The game was better than 95% of AAA games at launch, and now it's even better after all the patches and updates.

You're seriously an idiot to still not have played (not you, freeburn). UNLESS you're holding out for the DLC which is probably worth waiting for at this point, because they're bringing even MORE updates and quality of life improvements to the base game before or around then too.

I can agree with this to an extent. I enjoyed the absolute fk out of all the Deus Ex games except the original super old one. I really, really hope Eidos gives us another one.
Overall, I'd take Cyberpunk over Deus Ex, but I'm a fan wit out a doubt.

As far as Rockstar - I really doubt they'd deliver that good of a Cyberpunk genre game honestly. It's not their thing.

Deus Ex had better NPC, a living breathing city, better cops, etc. Cyberpunk just had better combat and driving.
