Cyberpunk Phantom Liberty: Easy 9/10

Typical 10/10 trailer from the GOAT studio CDPR. This DLC will be an easy 9/10 like the base game was.

Inb4 crying *******s come in foaming at the mouth with negative opinions like I'm supposed give AF when they haven't even played the game. Brb GamerJoeHomo on youtube said it was bad and had bugs years ago at launch so I'm not playing it.

I always find it hard to get into DLC's when they're released so long after the base game

gotta re-install and get acquainted with the basics again

looks good though so might do this

It's not just DLC, it's literally Cyberpunk 2.0. They're changing core systems and adding a lot of stuff.

yeah I know it's a meaty DLC, just saying in general it's always a bit of a hassle to get back into it

I generally only play 1 game at a time from start to finish, never keep a list of games in rotation and if for whatever reason I wasn't able to play for a really long time I either start from the beginning or quit

I really hope they worked on making the world more immersive and engaging.

What I disliked about the first game was how the world felt like a giant movie set with no depth or ecology outside your actions. The buildings couldn't be entered, the NPCs walked around on scripted routes etc. Cyberpunk needs the worldbuilding to be on point and they failed.
Back off, Warchild.

Seriously.

Put it on Gamepass and I may play it again. You can literally buy this game for $5.

Apparently it’s a full rework of the game and the re-work aspect will just be a patch, not paid dlc

Reworked skill tree
Reworked ai
Reworked cop system
Reworked ui and a ton of other things like difficulty, dynamic vehicle combat, etc

Who knows, maybe it’s a no-man’s-sky update where the game will now be what was originally promised (barring the branched storyline of course)

I’ll keep eye on it I guess. Might be worth finally giving the game a second chance

I think the people that didn't finish this game won't be back regardless

The only thing close to a 9 in cyberpunk were tranny weiners in ads

A pretty shocking product from cdpr sadly

Worked pretty well even on my outdated GPU. Played the game last year on high settings FSR Ultra Quality enabled with an RX 570 4 gb. Didn't experience any game breaking glitches. It's annoying how the game forced Johnny to live rent free in your head, though. No hate for Keanu - I just didn't care for the character, srs.

It was okay. Not great. Shorter than I expected and uninspired side missions and story. Too many long walking and talking cutscenes and this is coming from a Sonycel. Very few gameplay moments. They have scenes where the main character is losing his mind and it plays this awful sound when the screen gets blurry. It's SUPER annoying because it happens all game.

Also the world itself just doesn't feel real. Npc AI is poverty and there's nothing really cool to explore in the city. It just feels lifeless and not lived in by real people.

My opinion could be whatever I choose. I have no agenda about cyberpunk, it's a multiplatform game and Witcher 3 is a GOAT for me. I wanted to like it, I paid full price for it at launch. I never even finished it...Quit right before final mission and never went back.

I might. We'll see. I just really despise the long drawn out sections full of walking as well as the long drawn out braindance parts where you gotta watch movie clips, rewinding and fast forwarding while searching to find clues. God those were so annoying to do.

This is what I hear from all of my friends that have played the game. It just feels empty & so much of what the developers promised, they just did not deliver. None of them finished it as well.

Thought about trying it because I love Blade Runner type atmospheres & open world games, but everyone I know says not to bother, the game is chit. Maybe if it comes to GP I’ll give it a try one day.

if this is true i might pick it up. i remember playing cyberpunk on release then stopping for a while. when i went back i couldn't remember what was going on in the story so i stopped.

if this is a decent update i might try to replay it.

I restarted cyberpunk earlier last week.

Game is actually sick

The campaign is interesting the way they did it, everything is in engine like in the game, no cut scenes, you play everything. It can be a little tedious, the story has a ton of just conversation you have to click through. But they made it so you can sort of fast forward and still read the conversations if you leave subtitles on. Speeds up the boring parts for sure. But the story is pretty dope.

Cyberpunk world is absolutely top tier, the world is detailed af.

Graphics are insane

Very well worth a revisit, muuuuuuch more polished up then when I played at launch.

looking Forwardto the dlc.

This game makes me want to get a 4090 and oled ultrawide

Lol, I remember when the game came out and OP was defending it to the end. Didn't play until Patch 1.52 and had fun with the main story. One big thing I noticed is how on-the-rails the combat was during missions. When you have those flying probe things attack you, don't shoot at them and you'll see them always explode in the same spot before the driving section ends. You could, of course, destroy them earlier. Same thing with the guys in cars in various missions.
