Its more of an experience you enjoy with family/friends then just trying to slam down a simple meal. Also the macro's in crawfish are simply amazing. They are a great proteins source.
If you haven't had crawfish boiled in South Louisiana chances are you haven't had good crawfish though. When prepared right the taste is 9/10 for sure.
