I use to work 4-12s. This is how most days went.
Got out of work, went home and changed went to bars/clubs. Did that until closing at 5am, then went to diner/greasy spoon. Get home around 6am. Fell asleep if I’m lucky by 7am. Wake up in 7 hours shower, eat goto work hungover again at 4pm.
I felt like a degenerate and tried straightening myself out. So I’d go home, watch sport center until I fell asleep. Wired from work so that wasn’t happening until 3-4am. Made myself get up, and get out the house by noon to goto gym but felt rushed.
Pros: if you like your co-workers and y’all hang out after work. It’s a party shift, as long as the local bars are open to 5am.
Cons: lol@ your dating life unless you don’t mind dating only nurses, bartenders and strippers.

I wouldn’t. I work until 930 and I hate if. I could get an extra day off if I was willing to go until 1am but I just can’t do it. Social Life is already messed up enough as it is.

still unsure
i have all of next week to decide. cuz if i choose too i wanna start on a full 2 week pay schedule. i do think its a bit cooler and less stress but you are way more open to alcoholics and pepsi heads. who else staying up until 6-7am?
no cupecia i would not go to bed right after i would treat it like a regular work day. up for a few hours after work. watching, drinking... yeah only whores and druggies up this late. deal with it.
its deff the more party everyday shift

No.
Humans are supposed to sleep at night.
The harm to your health is MILES worse than $3/hr

Don’t do it. You’re on swing or second shift with those hours, not overnight shift but even then it’s trash.
I worked nights for a few months once when I was much younger than I am now and it kicked my ass. Without exaggeration my hair grew slower, my libido went away, the lack of sunlight had me looking like a zombie, and my mind was dull.
It’s on my list of dealbreakers for any job ever since.

Bro night shift is GOD TIER. I would NEVER work mornings unless they gave me no choice
Wake up late, sleep late, get off late. Its nice and cool in the evenings, not dying in the sun. Night owl schedule, I love it. I work 2 to 12am right now 3 days off. FUARKKK i love my schedule
Imagine setting an alarm for 5 am ****ing LMAO at morning idiots.

What's your base pay anyway?
$3 an hour amounts to ~6k a year so actually not that bad. But if you're taking a managerial role, you should ask for 10k due to the increase in responsibility
