Who gives a chit about eating ‘healthy’ as long as you’re actually in shape and have some decent cardio?

At the end of the day it mainly comes down to genetics and not being overweight.

I eat whatever tf I want aslong as it fits my calories and plan to do this for as long as I can.

this is how most people i know play it...eat what you want but don't overeat like a glutton, get some exercise, get some sleep and call it a day. if you start gaining extra fat and your clothes aren't fitting right...obviously you're slipping on one of those.

could we look at someone that isn't overweight, exercises to some extent, doesn't smoke/drink/drug, gets proper sleep, no preexisting conditions and say they are more likely to be healthier than average? perhaps healthy enough to a degree where what they actually eat is less likely to be a detriment to their health?
It's not equivalent, but the principle is the same. Idiots like Shawn Baker, for example, are causing long-term damage to their health by avoiding all fiber and throwing off their lipids, the fact that he's fit and works out won't counteract those health risks in the long-term.

Calories in and calories out, brah. Won't make a difference on your total weight per se but definitely will impact your psychological and physiological well-being. Gotta support proper gut health.

I think that's about the time I jumped on the IF bandwagon myself. Still going strong.
