States reopened their economies, and people returned to work. The POTUS doesn't get credit for "creating" jobs when people were locked out of them, and then returned to work. This has already been explained to you, and you're only further embarrassing yourself by insisting otherwise.

Want to know what is beyond strange? How Democrats really criticized Trump for not shutting the economy down even more. One reason the US isn't as bad as a lot of other countries is we didn't shut down as much, and we opened up faster. So if it weren't for Trump and Hillary was POTUS (it was her turn right) we would have been locked down even harder and longer, resulting in more jobs lost and a slower recovery. Jobs weren't lost due to Trump, they were lost due to COVID as they were everywhere in the world. So I guess you'll argue that if Trump was in office there wouldn't have been any Covid deaths or jobs lost. Right, gotcha.

Yawn. Fact is, Trump lost millions of jobs as president. Bush barely had job growth after 8 years as president. Obama and Biden have seen millions of jobs created under their administrations.

If Trump can take credit for inheriting a good economy and taking credit for everything as he did again and again and again and again, he can take credit for what happened during COVID when he disregarded any preparations for a possible pandemic.
