Trump left the country with a higher unemployment than what his predecessor left him. Only time that has ever happened.
Says it all really.
Says it all really.

Kind of like when they said “Blacks are doing better with welfare!”, when in fact, they were doing worse, because they cherry picked the 10 years before and after, but when you look at generational data, you realize that blacks were always doing better, but the welfare state actually slowed their progress dramatically.
Same with Biden’s economy; use COVID shutdowns as your baseline.

FIL still thinks Biden getting back the jobs Trump lost and then adding additional jobs is some kind of flex. LOL

Unemployment rate: Percent of the population applying or on unemployment benefits. Only tells a part of the story, and although low, you have to look into the numbers.
A more telling statistic is labor participation rate. Even then it's just the number of people who are "employed" and doesn't count or business owners and people receiving other forms of income but we are talking about the unemployment rate. As far as labor participation, it's increased but that's due to people going back to work, now at 62.6 but it has not gone past the 63.2% it was under Trump right before the pandemic. Other things to note is how despite Obama supposedly being so great the LPR constantly dropped under his presidency and stopped when Trump came on the scene. Trump was the first one to increase the LPR since Bill Clinton. Take from the graph what you will.
Also a side note, you can see how since the 1960's we need both parents working to make it.
Oh yeah, almost forgot the sauce:
