My car is currently prepped and ready to be boosted….fuel system is done, complete rear end swap and built to handle 1100 hp, cooling systems done etc………BUT my trans is only rated for like 400ftlbs of torque (and Im currently making right at 400 to the wheels) so I know that not only do I have to spend the $7k for the blower, a new hood & to find a shop that's not too far away to tune it……it's also going to soon be followed by $3500 and a weekend or 2 for a new trans and I'm just not sure I'm ready for that with a new kid and where I'm currently at in life. lol

I also know that to drop the trans….the header have to come off….to take the driver side header off, the steering shaft has to come out….taking the headers off is easier if the motor mounts come off………..and when I really think about it, it would be easier to just drop the K-member and lift the car off of it………..and to do that I need a lift…..see where Im going with this? haha
Lol, I know how that snowball goes. I finally got my 5th gen camaro I posted earlier pretty well dialed at that power level and then figured out that I wanted more than what I was willing to push through the stock bottom end and trans. So I added up the cost of building those then making the actual power upgrades and figured out that I could sell that one, buy an already modded V, and come out pretty far ahead.

Bought the V for $6k more than I sold the camaro for. I'll be in it another $4k by the time this fuel system is done along with some other small changes I made. But it's already got a built motor/trans, so it will just be a matter of either porting this blower further or going to a bigger setup to make it a solid 9 second daily driveable car.

Thread revival…..

Heading to a buddys house with a lift on Saturday to do some maintenance and some suspension modifications.

-Replacing the starter….so close to the headers that with a lot of spirited driving, the heat is killing the starter way faster than I'd like.
-Oil & Filter Change
-Transmission fluid change
-Removing the rear sway bar to see if it's less tail happy in the corner….just way to stiff back there and the coilovers are on the softest setting…and with subframe connectors, rear strut tower brace, stiffer control arms, coilovers, beefed up torque arms and a few other suspension mods in the rear, I'm not convinced I need the fat-ass sway bar.
-Dropping the front another 1/2-3/4 of an inch
-Increasing front camber a bit

Will drop it down and go test and make adjustments from there. Looking to do another Autocross event soon, they started doing them about 30 minutes from the house, so that's sweet. Got a couple car shows coming up and have a track day planned in March. I need to get it right/ready.

My local mustang club put on a car show this weekend….weather turned out to be crap which affected turnout, but it was fun overall.

Some local kid trying to make it in photography airdropped me some nice pics of my car……

I am reaaaaaal close to saying F it and making this an all out roadcourse car…….carbon fiber/vented hood, wickerbill, splitter, stickers, gutted interior, 4 point cage. I feel like that's what I really want.

I also need some larger rear tires….currently running 285's and they not only look small on the rim, I need more meat back there.

My 2024 Ford Raptor R was just built on Friday, waiting on it to ship here soon.

Trading in my 2022 RAM TRX, can't wait!

What was it about the TRX that made you want to trade it for the Raptor R?

Just wondering…..I've got a buddy that's got the TRX and loves it…..but he's a dedicated Mopar guy soooo.

Umm, just wanted something new tbh.

Plus, The Raptor R hold value extremely well, they sell for way over MSRP even used.
