Gas prices spiked to $5.00 (see previous post)18 monthsinto the Biden administration. After a steady upward trend that started when he took office. Exactly what action did Biden "quickly take", to lower gas prices to previous Obama-Biden era record highs?

Gas prices areNOTnormal! If you're going to lie, at least pick something that isn't so easily disproven

"Normal" over the past 10 years was around $2.50. We're now well above $3.50, and prices never got down to $3.00 after the record high in 2022.

I'll get an EV when Toyota has their solid state batteries in them. We're already years behind infrastructure wise for the EV takeover. The only way we get there is lots more natural gas and nuclear. Anyway, if we go balls to the wall we can cut oil use in the US by 20% in the next 15-20 years, since petroleum is used for a hell of a lot more than fuel. It's in the tires, it's in the car seats, it's in the roads themselves, it's used to make plastic and countless products so all we can do is reduce. LOL at every new parent that buys a midsize SUV after having one kid. Fuggin brainlets that want to keep up with the Joneses.

I see bioplastics replacing standard plastic as more of an environmental priority than cutting gas/diesel use, and geothermal needing a big push but those are long topics.

Nutsy please choose a longer sample size, and not Covid years....... to show your point since driving patterns were not even close normal from March 2020-May2023.
How about a 20 year sample time and we look at June 1 when schools are out and vacations begin through September 4th?

Ah, I thought I posted this also (longest span GasBuddy has)... Which clearly dispels the "returned to normal prices" lie.

All I can tell you is here in S Cal gas is still over $5 a gallon and pretty much the ONLY thing that has come down in price recently is eggs.

And they had to do that. The surplus of egg laying hens has gone through the roof.

Everything else? Still wayyyyyy above $$$ wise compared to 2 years ago.

Yeah but who cares? Not Californians. They voted to increase their own gas taxes with prop 6 a few years ago. They clearly want higher prices at the pump so they should be celebrating

Ah, the pathetic "blame Trump!" lie and deflection,2 1/2 years after Trump left office

You're seriously trying to claim that from 2017 to now, the US had48%inflation?

At what point does Biden actually bear responsibility for the results of his policies under "Bidenomics"? According to you and the gas price charts, inflation plummeted in 2014, then skyrocketed under Biden...because of Trump? And it's still going up, 2 1/2 years into the Biden administration, because of Trump?

Ah, the pathetic "blame Biden" for something that started days after he took office.

And I'm not sure where you're trying to go with your last paragraph.. Bidenomics is doing GREAT.. and Biden has returned inflation to normal rates... sounds like his policies are clearly working to counter Trump inflation and the disaster he left the country in when he was exterminated from the White House..

LMFAO. You didn't say boo when Trump destroyed our economy and slunk away with 7% unemployment and negative GDP.

But now it's all Biden's fault. Does it make you feel bad to be such a disingenuous shill for a 3x+ indicted conman who left our country in ruin boomer?
