Gas prices spiked to $5.00 (see previous post)18 monthsinto the Biden administration. After a steady upward trend that started when he took office. Exactly what action did Biden "quickly take", to lower gas prices to previous Obama-Biden era record highs?

It's almost like you forgot we were at $5 a gallon prices and all the doom and gloom Biden blamers came out of the woodwork and then prices went back to normal (pre-pandemic prices - not the $2 a gallon gas Trump had when the entire planet stopped demand for oil)

"Normal" over the past 10 years was around $2.50. We're now well above $3.50, and prices never got down to $3.00 after the record high in 2022.

I see bioplastics replacing standard plastic as more of an environmental priority than cutting gas/diesel use, and geothermal needing a big push but those are long topics.

Nutsy please choose a longer sample size, and not Covid years....... to show your point since driving patterns were not even close normal from March 2020-May2023.
How about a 20 year sample time and we look at June 1 when schools are out and vacations begin through September 4th?

All I can tell you is here in S Cal gas is still over $5 a gallon and pretty much the ONLY thing that has come down in price recently is eggs.
And they had to do that. The surplus of egg laying hens has gone through the roof.
Everything else? Still wayyyyyy above $$$ wise compared to 2 years ago.

You're seriously trying to claim that from 2017 to now, the US had48%inflation?
At what point does Biden actually bear responsibility for the results of his policies under "Bidenomics"? According to you and the gas price charts, inflation plummeted in 2014, then skyrocketed under Biden...because of Trump? And it's still going up, 2 1/2 years into the Biden administration, because of Trump?

And I'm not sure where you're trying to go with your last paragraph.. Bidenomics is doing GREAT.. and Biden has returned inflation to normal rates... sounds like his policies are clearly working to counter Trump inflation and the disaster he left the country in when he was exterminated from the White House..
