Interesting post Opie. Ern is definitely smarter than the average bear. I've sort of taken the "noseberg/shaniqua" with a grain of salt and largely ignore it. Maybe I should pay more attention.

A few people have posted "Ernie is a leftist" because he's not on the Trump train, and I always lol because uh.....Trump was a democrat for one, and for another Trump is a fukking billionaire who hung out with the Clintons and Epstein LMAO. All the boogey man tropes applied to the left apply to Trump.

Regardless, I think it's a mistake to apply the "left/right" label BEFORE judging the position. I think that's where a lot of people fuk up in their thinking and how we get bamboozled. When someone uses the label as an insult I automatically know the person is low IQ and can safely ignore them. Same with Trumper/anti-trumper split that people seem to apply.

I don't always agree with Ernie, but a lot of the time we're not too different. He's an independent thinker, which is rare in general and valuable to have on the misc. I don't think he really falls neatly into any particular political category, but I do think you're right that his posts go over the heads of a lot of people.

Ernie lifts weird stories from reddit (most of which are probably pure fictional redditor stories to begin with) to re-post about on the misc, and acts like a contrarian about everything, with a slight (but definitely noticeable) leftis touch to it. When proven wrong about something that he knows he doesn't have a good response to, he likes to talk out of both ends of his mouth.

It's honestly really refereshing to see another poster who doesn't just dick ride the guy.

I can't see him as being an autist, he's too cool for school and autists just can't pull that off. Loling at the left/right dichotomy constantly being trotted out. His one true position is that those are false and useless "teams" and wow great surprise low IQs cling to it. "He's team blue and is therefore ghey!" There is no team blue, there is no team red. They're all on the same side. We're all split. Bush, Trump, McConnell, DeSantis, etc has more in common with the Clintons than some tradie with "Let's Go Brandon" bumper sticker on his F150.

While I don't agree on a some of the things from ernie, he points out the pure hypocrisy and reality within the world today. Especially politically.

Almost all of his cuckservative critiques and jokes are spot on. Conservatives act like they're these right wing moral bravehearts that are on the right side, but they conserve nothing. They aren't convservative in any way. Trump literally printing trillions, pushed the vaxx, was the first person to actually attempt UBI in some capacity (which all conservatives chit on Andrew Yang for), and Trump is pro israel and pro LGBTQ+. YET THEY STILL PROMOTE HIM AND THINK HE'S "THEIR" GUY.

It doesn't matter what Ernie's politics are. It's the bird's eye view of what society truly is that makes it entertaining. Everyone lives in the curated bubble pushed by a mix of media, political theater, and social constructs meant to keep you demoralized, cucked and unmotivated. He has some level independent thought where he can actually bring you the actual reality of what the world is. It's both hilarious but absurdly eerie because the world is extremely fukked up.
