A watch should be 2 percent of your net worth imo so I won’t be buying a 20k watch unless I’m worth 1 million

there some decent watches under 20k though. but I get the point

Hard for me to tell if I like it. Can we get one where your flexing with it in a mirror shot with your arm cocked at a 90° angle?

Just received Seiko chrono over the weekend. Also have a diver mod I got a few months ago. Seiko is a brand of the people and they make quality watches. Without a doubt I’ll wind up with at least two more in my collection at some point, Skx, Alpinist, or panda chrono.

For the love of God, cover that tattoo man.
"The flowers bloom, then wither... The stars shine and one day become extinct. This earth, the sun, the galaxies and even the big universe, someday will be destroyed. Compared with that, the human life is only a blink, just a little time. In that short time - people are born, laugh, cry, fight, are injured, feel joy, sadness, hate someone, love someone. All in just a moment. And then, are embraced by the eternal sleep called death."

not to sh*t on you bruh
but why waste 200 on a piece of ********* when you have a number of other watches that all serve the same purpose
on top of that - this is 200 you could have added to a deposit for a house or stuck in an investment fund to leave and grow (of course you would need more than just that overtime)
the mindset of a consumer/teenager living with their parents with no urgency for life to change - and this isn't about still being able to save more bla bla

Buying a watch under 20k just makes you look like a consumer pleb
Doing it for “fashion”
Pathetic
If you need to see the time just use your phone
Smart watches at least have some utility

[QUOTE=Vascularmanlet post_id=1688352443]Finally got a new watch for the first time in 3 years, Seiko Automatic green dial although looks black depending on lighting. Cost me £200/$250.
Will I look like a mogger now while posing?

Depending on your finances, it can surely be retarded, but not always.

If you're talking extreme exclusivity then what you say may hold true, but you're prob talking more than 20k and more into the 150k to a million plus range
But the thing is 20k dollar watch, you're probably not gonna want to wear it
You're gonna fuken scratch it moving around or accidentally bang it on a corner.. then you're gonna be pissed
A 20k dollar watch if it holds its value prob won't be worn

Don’t want to derail this thread too much, but a brief consideration of the type of folks you’d be “impressing”, should reveal why it’s a worthless pursuit.
