Misc rate new watch (pics)

Finally got a new watch for the first time in 3 years, Seiko Automatic green dial although looks black depending on lighting. Cost me ยฃ200/$250.

Will I look like a mogger now while posing?

I could buy one now with some of my savings, personally though canโ€™t justify spending thousands on a watch unless I was a mega baller.

Buying a watch for other people approval is stupid as no one will notice (unless itโ€™s extremely expensive)

i deleted my last reply. i think luxury watches are stupid and a waste of money. buy a good smartwatch that matches your phone. you will get instant utility out of it. and invest your money instead.

Never would have thought orange monsters, vampire monsters, skx007s etc would become rare.

when you're a true mogger - you don't need a luxury watch to impress anyone. these days it's the posers and the wannabes with the luxury watches who are trying so hard to impress everyone. big hat but no cattle.

Anyone who majorly struggles to get "status symbols" is just buying one small representation of a lifestyle that they do not have. If you really like Rolex, and can comfortably afford one, it's worth it. You need the lifestyle first though. I buy watches that I like, because I like watches, and they are mostly unnoticed. I like that too.

You have no business wearing a watch unless itโ€™s an actual watch worth 20k plus

I have a tag thatโ€™s worth like 3k but donโ€™t even wear it anymore cause itโ€™s just embarrassing

A watch should be 2 percent of your net worth imo so I wonโ€™t be buying a 20k watch unless Iโ€™m worth 1 million

Those wrists are looking pretty skinny hopefully it doesn't slide off.

Bro,

1) just lol

2) I was saying the watch itself is way too big for you

Moggers would have something elegant and understated
Ethnics would have something big and shiny
