A lot of older guys are known for being predatory and easily manipulating those 18 yr olds, that's what it boils down to. And 21 and 18 isn't weird tbfh.

I'm 33 and would definitely smash an 17 yr old sloot, which is legal here. But relationship wise, I'd go 23+. Would probably get called a ped0, but absolutely no fuks given.

During my Ragnarok Online days I was in a guild and most of us were in our 20s, but one girl was 13. Sometimes I'd hang out in various dangerous areas with her when the other guildies weren't on because she used a GX and could kill anyone in our way with ease. I learned that girls that age aren't that different, just a bit more immature. You'd say something and she'd respond with "your face is [repeated phrase]." That's how you could tell she was a kid, but other than that teens are fully aware of what they're doing. Wonder what she's up to these days, she must be in her mid-20s now. People used to not live long and would marry early to compensate + it wasn't such a big deal. Inb4 "She's 17 years, 360 days, and 12 hours old, you disgusting groomer!"

Parents were 1 year, grandparents were 4 years and 5 years.

That said, my in-laws were 32 and 16 when they got married (arranged marriage, and minimum is 18 now), and me and my wife were 26/21 when we got married 29 years ago.

I was curious so I looked it up. Wife and I are 2 years apart. However, I met her when she was 19 and married her when she was 20, so I did alright as far as your advice is concerned.

Parents - Dad 1 year older
Maternal Grandparents - Grandpa 6 years older. He actually still outlived her, too.
Paternal Grandparents - Same age
Great Grandparents 1 - 5 year difference
Great Grandparents 2 - 6 year difference
Great Grandparents 3 - 19 year difference
Great Grandparents 4 - 3 year difference

Sample of 1. That 19-year difference surprised me, I wasn't aware of it.

Certainly could be, I was just curious so took a look with what I could come up with easily. My wife was raised well also, and I'm grateful to her parents for that. I think her dad was 6 or 7 years older than her mom fwiw.
