Also why the fuk are you retards even responding to what kind of deadlift bar she should use.

Sloots can’t even pull two plates, it’s fukking irrelevant if you don’t put enough weight on the bar to bend it.

I don't know if there is a standard diameter for deadlift bars, but I'm seeing some at 27.5 and some at 27mm. I have decent sized hands but the slightly small diameter made quite a difference holding on to the bar through a deadlift set. For a woman, I'd guess the difference would be even more pronounced, although, if you use straps anyway that difference also doesn't matter.
i do use straps. I've pretty much decided to just get the stiff bar. teeheehee.

I don't look at the poster, but the content of the post. If the info helps or doesn't help the poster is irrelevant as I hope the info is used for anyone interested in the topic. I view this as a public forum that is read by many.

This is why I get accused of "simping". I don't care about male/female, haters/non-haters, I read content, and answer (or quip) accordingly. I treat everyone as equals (or autists because this is misc).

this is the essence of my question. I've settled on getting a stiff bar.
I mean a barbell!

I try to treat you nice boomers appropriately when directly addressing you, but when it’s a psa to the misc, everyone is a fgt.

I noticed it helps the initial pull off the floor, it feels like it give you a little momentum to start with. Also the knurling is farther apart and missing from the center so you don't tear your shins up, at least that's how our 20kg bars are. We have some thicker 25kg bars that are stiffer, I like those better for squatting.

unless you're pulling north of like 315 you wont get any significant bend out of the bar

I appreciate your response. That dude is just trying to play dominance games, don't mind him. It's fun to see another rider on this forum. I love bike riding. What is the terrain like where you're at?

I like a bar with whip for squatting. There's nothing like the feel of seeing the bar bounce on your traps when you break out of the box with speed with 405 on the bar. Mogging everyone at the gym (even though no one is looking).

you squat with 405 on a DL bar and bounce it on your traps it's gonna get a permanent bend though

Desert, dusty, loose, and hot af. Very rocky too, lots of tech climbing if that's your thing. Once in a while, I travel up to northern AZ in the pines for forest singletrack and cool weather. Looking forward to more riding in Sedona, but still hot up there. Rocky, flowy, and scenic.

LOL. At 405, hasn't created a perm bend in it. If it did, I would stop though. I love my bendy bars (well, gym's bendy bars).

If it was a more comfy lift off I'd spring for it. The thinness of the bar and the knurling may also affect the overall experience.
However, some have suggested that these differences may not be an issue for me. The difference in price is monstrous.

Nice. I had to quit riding for a while during the peak summer months in Mississippi. It's about ready to cool back down again. I can't wait. It's deep woods here. Beautiful country. Lots of streams and lakes. I'm not much of a tech rider. Mostly I ride like a kid, just for the fun of it and to see what I can see.

the knurling on DL bars is so phucking aggressive, literally shreds my hands. definitely not a comfy lift by any means

Deadlift bars have a 27mm diameter vs stiff power bars that have 29mm, gym/multipurpose bars with 28.5mm, olympic bars with 28mm, and women's bars with 25mm. Not sure how a standard 25mm women's bar compares to a deadlift bar for whip, but might be worth looking at just for grip if you don't have particularly large hands. I wouldn't bother getting a deadlift bar.
