I think my only complaint is I can't play it on PC. It looks good on Xbox Series X and 30fps isn't terrible, but I can't imagine 60 fps locked.
I wonder will there be future mod for 60 fps on xbox??

Played for a short amount of time but tbh game looks like ass on my old GTX1080. Was going to wait until the 7800xt came out but said **** it and decided to save the money and get a 6750 xt for a yuuge discount, so refunding Premium and will just wait for my card to arrive. Rest of my PC needs to be upgraded anyway but that will wait until next year cause new truck time right now. Unfortunately I am super busy this weekend so would only get to play on Monday regardless.
But my thoughts so far.
Combat is smooth
loading screens are lighting fast off my NVMe drive.
The UI isn't as bad as some say but maybe its just me. The watch does take up too much space TBH
Space combat is ASS, hopefully they revamp or mod that. Need a starwarsesque capital ship set up where you can rotate camera view around the ship, lock on with movable guns and fire like that instead of just firing forward like you are in a starfighter. The ship is already too big for it and its just the starter. Others will have to comment if you can make smaller fighter type craft.
Dialogue options are well thought out, giving much more freedom in responding than most games. Persuasion was explained well too.
That is about it for now. I definitely can't wait to give it a thorough playthrough.

Back in my teenage days used to tag along with SiN or conquest when they would roll into a new game and thrash everyone. Daoc had some epic pvp also.

Played it for about 2 hours last night. My only gripe is that the controls feel a little clunky and the "pip boy" type screen and map seem kinda awkward. Space battles are fun and the action started within the first few minutes. Its very immersive so far. The controls though are sorta killing it for me is all, they just arent smooth.

Console incel cuckold wars aside, the game is pretty good.
The good:
- Lots of content, quests, things to see and explore.
- Nice attention to small details, human locations are filled with objects, quests, intrigues, etc.
- The combat is fluid and responsive, even normal difficulty is challenging.
- Loading is quick and you don't even notice it.
- You can fast travel to avoid walking or repetitive cut scenes.
- Quests are deep, and side quests are even deeper, they are well written and very interesting.
- Ship customization is nice.
- Housing aspect is nice too.
- Making credits is easy but things are expensive so it's challenging managing finances, it's not too easy but it's not hard either.
- I wanna creampie Sarah Morgan.
- Skill tree and weapon upgrades are nice.
- Did not encounter any bugs so far.
The bad:
- UI is absolute garbage, i don't know what goes on in the devs minds when they come up with cluster****s like this. Even tracking quests is a pain in the ass.
- Ship customization has a lot of weight bugs and takes time to get adjusted to.
- Space combat is meh, nothing spectacular, and space encounters are okay at best, the ability to board and steal ships is nice however.
- No 5120x1440, 32:9 resolution. It's 2023, indie games support this chit and Bethesda never managed to make it work in any titles they made. Pure laziness on their part, i shouldn't have to rely on third party mods to enjoy an optimal visual experience.
- Procedural planets are bland and empty, but that's the risk of procedural level design, everything's bland and empty and content is limited. Yet the retarded phucks in this forum wanted a No Man's Sky 2.0 where EVERYTHING is procedural just for the "free travel".
- Tutorials are pretty lame, you take a lot longer to grasp the game basics because the explanations are horrendous.
- It's difficult to see the benefits of any crafting profession. They do have benefits but the game doesn't tell you what you can do with those activities, you have to discover it yourself.
Still worth to get the game, especially if you expected a space RPG and not a No Man's Sky remake.

I'm about 5 hours in. There's some things that need to be fixed
-NPCs are ass, a big downgrade from Skyrim. Such a disappointment.
-Stealth is terrible right now, don't bother
-Melee needs to be fixed, can only melee if weapons unequipped
-Flying should have had more depth
I'm playing a villian, next build will be some sort of politician with max social/leadership skills.

The ship battles are cool, I fly my ship like the jets in battlefield. I know when to accelerate and how to make tight turns. The problem for me is how it seems you don't spend much time in space. It's mostly all automated, grav jumping from galaxy to galaxy, planet to planet. They should have given us the option for warp speed and landing. Not sure how that'd work, but it would be much more immersive.

Probably mentioned but for me: UI is ass and I hate how when you bring the map u ESC just zooms out to a larger area. If I hit ESC it means I want to close the fcking window, not zoom out.
Short cuts to success are often paved with lies.
1/13/16: Massive hernia.
5/10/16: Finally back to lifting, light but improving.

First, an enormous thank you to all of you playing Starfield and your support. We are absolutely blown away by the response and all you love about the game. We’re also reading all your great feedback on what you’d like to see improved or added to the game. This is a game we’ll be supporting for years and years to come, so please keep all the feedback coming! Even if we don’t get to your requests immediately, we’d love to do it in the future, like city maps. Our priority initially is making sure any top blocker bugs or stability issues are addressed, and adding quality-of-life features that many are asking for.
This first update is a small hotfix targeted at the few top issues were are seeing. After that, expect a regular interval of updates that have top community requested features including:
Brightness and Contrast controls
HDR Calibration Menu
FOV Slider
Nvidia DLSS Support (PC)
32:9 Ultrawide Monitor Support (PC)
Eat button for food!
We’re also working closely with Nvidia, AMD, and Intel on driver support, and each update will include new stability and performance improvements.
Additionally, we are working on our built-in mod support (Creations) that will work across all platforms similar to what we’ve done with Skyrim and Fallout 4. This full support is planned to launch early next year. Until then, we know our PC community is already very active in the modding space and if you have any feedback on how we can make this better, please let us know . Modding and creating in our games will always be a vital and important part of who we are, and we love seeing the community get off to such a strong start.
Keep the feedback coming, we really do read it all, and thank you all again for taking this journey with us!
Bethesda Game Studios

Update Version 1.7.29 - Fixes and Improvements
Performance and Stability
Xbox Series X|S Improved stability related to installations.
Various stability and performance improvements to reduce crashes and improve framerate.
Quests
All That Money Can Buy: Fixed an issue where player activity could result in a quest blocker.
Into the Unknown: Fixed an issue that could prevent the quest from appearing after the game is completed.
Shadows in Neon: Fixed an issue where player activity could result in a quest block
First update from Bethesda.
I guess we can expect to see this by next year.
**** Bethesda, they wont fix any of this chit anytime soon. Larian would have fixed this the first day after release lmao.

I think the game is good, but there's Def no rush to start playing now. I wanted to try it initially, but I'm gunna shelf it and wait a few months. Probably try again after I'm done with the cyberpunk dlc.
