Yeah most of the people who immigrate to Canada have bigger expectations then the kind of expectations they have back home. After some time they face the reality and life starts to become kinda difficult for them and they start to panic once they feel they are under-achieving....

Canada will still need people anyways....like even the ones who leech off the system and don't contribute to the economy...it's not like they are leeching loads or something like that...

There is also a case for people who immigrate to other countries with everything intact...then later on they turn into something else....could be better or worse....

Liberals are hell bent on Canada becoming a third world country. Around Toronto they’re already having issues with people chitting on the public beaches .
All I can do is vote ,but the Liberals have the majority in Canada and always will . Most sloots can be lead around like sheep and vote liberal , and that’s almost 50% of the voting block right there. Add in the immigrants and sexual predators , and you’ve got a majority vote every time

Aus recently signed some new deal making it easier for immigration between the two (surely it'll go both ways) and UK is about to sign some deal for students.

Indians won't leave, as long as the standard of living is higher than India which isn't difficult.

Visa difficulty, restrictions and long wait times for GC is the only reason Indians don't completely saturate the US.

Canada has open arms policy, far easier to get residency.

everything just seems intentional knowing the consequences. even the Ontario provincial government crippling the healthcare system so it can eventually become privatized, impossible to even get a family doctor these days

The health care system was crippled way before the Conservatives, they just pushed it even further by locking nurse salaries and making sure not to open up med school spots, which is what's really hurting. We need to increase med school spots by at least 100 per intake and also increase compensation for family doctors, because right now with the headaches they face the money simply isn't worth it to just do family medicine, so everyone specializes and nobody runs clinics.

I have no idea why qualified medical professionals from other countries can't get fast tracked through the system to become workers here within six months to a year. If you're a nurse or doctor from another country - even a first world country with excellent education - you still need to attend school and re-qualify. My cardiologists' wife was a family doctor for a decade in France and when she got here she just didn't bother because it sucks so bad to even attempt to get in.

The US needs to massively increase its intake of immigrants as well to support its aging population that continues trending below replacement rate, Canada is just a bit earlier in the curve with it

You think it's the gov't that determines the number of med school spots? lol.

The CMA is probably the most powerful lobby group in Canada.

The lowest paid doctor I know made $380K about 10 years ago.

Some specialities (like family), from some countries, can work here without re-doing residency.

The red-tape is ridiculous as is the time it takes.
