Canadas GDP is 2.14 trillion

Canada needs 6 million new homes by 2030 to restore affordability

This means an investment of 3.6 trillion which is 168 percent of Canada’s GDP

Toronto has a budget deficit of 1.5 bln

Immigration of 1.2 million per year (highest in the world)

Avg rent in Canada is $2078 (increasing 8.9% annually)

Lost 72k construction workers this year

Will need 300k over the next 10 years

I have seen most of the cities in Canada on YouTube, they look fine and clean, building and houses look ok too, wide roads, no traffic, but there are hardly any people on it except for cars..I mean this is the trend in all videos....and I can see all the utilities are distant apart from each other...as if it's not suitable to do everything by public transport or walking....Canada definitely needs to fill up people....and that applies to every city in Canada...

What developers are incentivized to build when 30 percent of the costs goes to the government before shovels are in the ground who can’t ever give up this revenue stream because they are so indebted.

PPC and Bloc are the only ones that advocate for less immigration but the PPC has been branded as the racist far right party and the Bloc is limited in their influence plus only care about QC
