Lol @ miscers talking about being "real rap fans", but have probably never listened to Asian rap.

Not bad. I think Pyrogen used to post stuff like this in the hip hop misc thread. Interesting to hear G-Funk influences in Japanese Hip Hop. There are some Asian rappers I like (Mountain Brothers, MC Jin and on an underground tip P.G is a dope Lao rapper from my area). But they’re all living in America and rap in English.

I don’t usually listen foreign language Hip Hop because I like to dissect lyrics. For all I know they could be rapping about how much they love big cocks and I wouldn’t know. But sonically it’s dope man.

Whoa, so they could be miscers. There's a lot of different stuff I enjoy listening to like MC Hotdog and Zen-La-Rock, the latter being more experimental with his styles. I don't always keep track of everything I've heard over the years. Been searching for a Japanese hip-hop group for 16 years and can't find them on youtube anymore. Tried the TOMT sub reddit, but they got nothing. Psy's early stuff was much more rap and less silly gangnam stuff.

The beat reminds me of RUN DMC - Rock Box. Might even be sampled from it.
