Imagine wasting your time watching these “science” videos. Cringe when guys like Nippard act like they have a phD in this chit and go off about “meta-analyses”. He’s a gypsy shill who probably takes roids just like everybody else. “Trust the science bro”.
Just lift the ****ing weight, eat right, and sleep well. It’s not ****ing rocket science.

Literally every single training style works
High intensity, volume, frequency, brosplits, PPL, training to failure, leaving reps in reserve, full ROM, partials
Just pick what you enjoy and stick with it for a long time and you’ll gain muscle
These science based yootoob celeries can drop dead

Someone who perfected form, and actually controlled the weight.
Same basic principles of a bro split though. Train each muscle group once per week. In his 2 muscle groups per day. Hit that muscle hard to failure. Some use lots of volume, Dorian used less volume with more weight. Then let that muscle rest a week and train it again. People have tried to market Dorians split as something vastly different from what everyone else does. But at the end of the day he just went harder with heavier weight for fewer sets.
Everyone likes to over-complicate lifting routines because that's how you make money/get popular. Its literally as simple as train a muscle as hard as possible. Get as big of a pump as possible. Then let it rest for a week and hit it a little harder next time.

also common sense will tell you that it's a good idea to do high weight+low weights (different rep ranges etc.) in your splits

It makes me lol every time.
If you take the perfect science based workout and a trainer and work with some random kid, I guarantee me just doing my own workouts from my own thought process would blow that kid out of the water. Literally the key factor is intent. I can build better legs with 1 set of 20 rep squats in 6 months than a bro can with a whole science workout plan.
It's just for people to stroke their egos. Find what works for you, what yields you results, and make sure you push yourself each time. Have fun and enjoy the gains.

Science based lifting will only take you so far as your genetics natty.
Science based lifting will only take you so far as your genetics on gear, above but enhanced (you will always revert back to above off cycle).
Science based lifting will take you beyond your genetics on gear combined with hgh + slin (hgh & slin actually create brand new muscle cells rather than temporarily enlarge them)
The bodybuilders competing on stage or worlds strongest man are in the third category. Throw some diuretics in there during comp time for bbers.

Most gym goers rep range is from 1 to "slightly uncomfortable". Never to anything close to real failure. They can do this for years and not really make any gains.
On top of that, their protein intake is about 30g/day. They either eat too little or eat too many empty calories.

I'm not blessed with riches, but I am rich with blessings.

Not everyone's genetics can handle working out two hours a day in the morning and then two hours a day in the evening all six days of the week.

You're right. I'd rather use faith-based lifting. Jesus is my training partner and god gives me all my gains because I pray over my post-workout shake 3x a week.
*Look at reflection in car window and flex every time crew*
*Use half the roll to wipe after a poo crew*
*Fart in the gym and blame rotten smell on faulty ventilation crew*
*Fart at home and blame it on the dog crew*
*Watch neutron-star density poop mock me as water flushes around it and it stays put crew*
*Drive 2 minutes in the summer and back of shirt gets completely wet crew*
*Coffee black as midnight on a moonless night crew*
*Fat shame my cat on a daily basis crew*

You said listen to Arnold like he wasn’t born with the testosterone of an entire graduating class of 2023, and then juiced to double it from age 16.
OP you can’t give lifting advice mocking Jeff Nipples for being a turbo manlet while being 6’2-3” and under 200lbs.

You have a bunch of variables (reps, sets, rest period, TUT, frequency, weight etc) which you keep the same until you no longer see any improvement, at which point you change a variable.
If the changed variable results in improvement, you continue with it, and if not, you revert to the old value and change a different variable.
That's the basis of both successful training and the scientific method. Successful training is science based lifting.
