Processed sugar is basically poison. I avoid it as much as possible besides like at a party and I have some desert or randomly have ice cream or something. Sugar also promotes growth of yeast in the body as it feeds on it.
If I do have sugar it is usually in the form of fructose. I'll also have honey and milk.
I usually oscillate between keto and moderate carb intake and during keto the only sugar I consume would come from raw milk. Nothing more.

When it comes your time to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with the fear of death, so that when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way. Sing your death song and die like a hero going home.

I think its extremely damaging to the human body on the long term. Ive been doing some research lately and high intakes of sugar combined with a calorie surplus is possibly the recipe for an early death.
I dont think high sugar consumption is THAT bad on a calorie deficit or a caloric balance, but still there are much better ways to feed your body.

"The flowers bloom, then wither... The stars shine and one day become extinct. This earth, the sun, the galaxies and even the big universe, someday will be destroyed. Compared with that, the human life is only a blink, just a little time. In that short time - people are born, laugh, cry, fight, are injured, feel joy, sadness, hate someone, love someone. All in just a moment. And then, are embraced by the eternal sleep called death."

Your body does not need sugar, your carbohydrate requirement is 0 g, your body only needs things that are specifically called essential, essential amino acids and essential fatty acids, if sugar was essential then Shawn Baker would’ve died long ago.

Refined sugar from a candy bar or ice cream is bad but not the small amount you get from eating an apple. Also artificial sugar like Stevia is worse.
