"Danger?" Jesus wept.
Send them all to New York to run a train on her, because that's how our border feels.
Maybe we should deport illegalsthere- good luck crossing the Pacific, ass holes.

Asylum seekers approved legally are in fact here legally.
That probably makes up less than 1% of immigrants. Between 1990 and 2022 its like 800k total that claimed asylum.
Its intentionally super disingenuous but she is not lying. To even use that caveat is ridiculous when addressing the immigrant crisis and dumb fuks will eat it up.

A simple fact - unless they are Mexican they cannot be here legally seeking asylum. The law says they have to claim asylum in the first country they are safe in. There is no need to travel through 2,3, or 8 countries to seek asylum. Plenty are flying from across the world (from over 100 countries) to sneak in through the southern border. And practically none of them are asylum seekers, they are economic migrants. They're about 90% men aged teens to 40s, prime working age. The ones claiming asylum are nearly all lying, with coaching on how to lie by NGOs. Gee, almost no women or children. Hmmmm.
And again, for those seeking asylum they have to go to the first port of safe entry, not travel through multiple countries just to go to the country with the best economy. So again, they are not here legally. With the exception of some (far from all) Mexicans escaping the cartels, all are here illegally.

What insight do the Build the Wall! idiots and the hick yokels driving around with confederate flags on their trucks have that professional economists don't? Might it be that they're conflating the economic effects of migration with the sociological effects?
Japan for example has a restrictive policy on immigration but this is for social reasons to preserve their ethnicity. That's even in the face of Japan's aging population which will affect their economybigly. But that's because they value their social tradition more than economic growth.
The trumpers are framing the sociological debate on immigration as an economic one. They're scared of the superior white genes disappearing so they frame the social angst economically: ERR JERBS!
But notice how the ERR JERBS argument isn't really used for Muslim immigrants as much. Because the social anxiety about terrorism is a far more effective form of rhetoric against Muslims than their effect on jobs.
Do you think the average Trumper can effectively partition the economic issues from the sociological ones?
Spoiler!
No, they can't.
Back off, Warchild.
Seriously.

Anyway AOC is completely wrong. Per international laws asylum seekers are to go to the first safe country, not travel through half a dozen. If one solely cares about GDP figures then illegal immigration is wonderful. Illegal immigration will never be okay. Ever. Practically every asylum claim is fake. Since when is lying about something so audacious moral? It never will be. Illegal immigration and fake ass asylum are not the same thing as legal immigration. Don't muddy the two.
You're not half as intelligent as you pretend to be. Everything you think is a revelation I learned by my early 20s, mid 20s at the latest.

The US is a party to the Convention Relating to the Status of Refugees, also known as the 1951 Refugee Convention or the Geneva Convention of 28 July 1951. This constitutes a valid treaty.
The treaty defines a refugee as:
She is right. You are wrong. If you reply with a typical republiKKKaren rant about your precious little fee fees and how your thin skin is offended by immigrants, she will still be right, and you will still be wrong.
The treaty defines a refugee as:
As a result of events occurring before 1 January 1951 and owing to well-founded fear of being persecuted for reasons of race, religion, nationality, membership of a particular social group or political opinion, is outside the country of his nationality and is unable or, owing to such fear, is unwilling to avail himself of the protection of that country; or who, not having a nationality and being outside the country of his former habitual residence as a result of such events, is unable or, owing to such fear, is unwilling to return to it.
The US also has a constitution. That constitution has a Supremacy Clause. From wiki:The Supremacy Clause of the Constitution of the United States establishes that the Constitution, federal laws made pursuant to it, and treaties made under its authority, constitute the "supreme Law of the Land", and thus take priority over any conflicting state laws. It provides that state courts are bound by, and state constitutions subordinate to, the supreme law.
How about you racist dorks think it over. She is right. You are wrong. If you reply with a typical republiKKKaren rant about your precious little fee fees and how your thin skin is offended by immigrants, she will still be right, and you will still be wrong.

Illegal? Fuk off.
She's wrong, you're wrong. Gotta go to the first safe port of entry, not travel through half a dozen countries to claim asylum. If it's about asylum Venezuelans can and are supposed to do so in Colombia, Panama the furthest they are to go. With the exception of some Mexicans claiming asylum from the cartels every illegal claiming asylum is lying and/or breaking the asylum laws by coming to the USA.
If Hondurans need asylum they need to do it in Mexico. Coming to the US isn't for asylum, it's to make more money. You are wrong, as always. AOC is wrong, to no surprise. She'd have to know laws to be correct once in her life.

And when the refugees arrived in Western Europe, sexual assaults skyrocketed, but you continue typing out paragraphs that they're somehow beneficial.....
