I think that's what adulthood is all about. You're the same person you just have responsibilities and you can't be selfish with your time. I don't think that's a bad thing. Spending time with my wife and son is more fulfilling than playing vidya, working out and texting women during 99% of my free time which is probably what I'd be doing if I never married

This is scary. I swear I remember being 24, then 27, now I'm 33. At 24 I told myself I need to step it up, I'm in a better position now, but still rot status. Time is ticking for me. It's rot or swim.

You can be more carefree and loose as you get older, for a few reasons. One is that you've already achieved, accumulated and come through various experiences, good and bad, so you know you've got what it takes, and that gives you a degree of comfort. It also means that you can become more brash and not hold back as you would when you were younger and restrained, adhering to authority because you were worried about making it. But with time you get sick of tolerating, plus as your standing increases it doesn't feel as insecure to be reckless. So its a contradiction that as you age,the behavior might be more inclined with a younger person. Also if you worked hard in your 20s and was serious, it didn't feel as appropriate to travel, party, blow money, care about sloots, and not be productive. I felt I hadn't earnt it and that it was a waste, so I couldn't just let go. Now as an older brah its easier to enjoy the fruits without the self imposed pressure.

If you think there is an active link out there, I would like to see it because I've had to have several accounts taken down for using my Instagram to scam people

The old photos feel free to post if it makes you feel better, I don't care about those.

I'm 37 yo and immature as fuk BUT I have my chit very much together

if it's needed I can be "the adult" but I try to limit the time that it's requested lol

that's why I'm a relative underachiever and don't want kids

Omg I wish. The only connection I have between myself now and myself as a kid is the illusion of ego created by a nearly unbroken continuity of conscious experience. My memory is atrocious so I barely even remember my life, but I vividly remember how I used to feel. I never feel like that anymore.

But he waits, and is always there

Anyone else agree?
Was talking to a few PhD candidates, they don't know how to function irl. Adulting is a lie, people pretend they know what they want. And this is good news, because we know that they are putting up a face to hide their incompetence

A man should never grow up completely. It is essential to tell dad jokes, pull pranks...but be a rock when needed.

Funny you mention it.

I broke NC after six years with an ex, figured six years would prove a point, lol.

Anyways, she responds and says “I’ve grown up a lot”

That chit really hurts because I know it’s code speak for fuk off because no one grows up really.
