Adulthood is a lie

You age, you learn a few more things, you get kinda creaky, but deep down inside, that kid is still there

He comes out when he can, and he reminds you of the pure joy life can bring

He reminds you that your responsibilities are the only thing keeping him at bay

But he waits, and is always there

Anyone else agree?

Wow who would have known mr Sandusky would have an endless arsenal of dirty cops at his disposal for offering some companies subsidies to recover…

Crazy? Should have just went accepted bribe money and milked Sandusky taxpayers for all they are worth

Not srs

I have to get these cops indicted

this is true...never wanted the kid to die so that's why i found a way to never work. my inspiration was wanting summer vacation to last forever

working a job is what kills the kid.

I couldn't tell you.

I was getting ready to leave to pick up my daughter from the airport late Monday evening and thought "What even is this? My daughter is pretty much an adult now and I'm turning into the grandma, but I still feel the same."

I have never had a feeling of being grown up (just turned 38), and from what I have learned from older men and women is they say the same. I personally believe this a good/healthy/positive thing for a few reasons.

More importantly, I feel now that we now this, we can communicate it to the younger generations. Maybe they will have a little more patience with us. Maybe just let them know we don't have chit figured out, that we can be scared, that we over analyze everything about ourselves, that we simply do not know.

I feel that can better set them up for success. Peoples feelings should be validated by those who love them, I don't care if you agree with them or not, their feelings are theirs and they should be validated.

That is a little deeper than you may have wanted to go.

Yes I agree.

Muzz, today is my 23rd birthday. I would greatly appreciate a vocaroo of you motivating me to turn my life around.

It's my Jordan Year. I will adopt the Jordan mentality and ascend with jaw surgery, nosejob, gyno, hair transplant, etc. I will do everything in my power to no longer be an Indian Incel

Recently turned 30...and I noticed my 20s went by so ridiculously quick. Before you know it, we're gonna be old and gray.

Definitely.

Sometimes I find myself thinking "how tf am I a dad and how do I have a wife? Wtf is going on?"
The closer we approach the uncertainty of life's ending the more we wish to trade all of the things we have acquired in exchange for all of the things we have lost: wealth for youth, knowledge for fresh curiosity, resignation for hope. We'd trade our wisdom for new experiences, but it is wisdom that will teach us that at the end of the road the only new experience is death.

Yup. I still find myself laughing at the same immature things I laughed at when I was 15. I still spend a significant portion playing video games and browsing the internet. Only difference now is I'm more diet conscious, work instead of school, have a car, and facial/body hair grows astonishingly faster. The added wisdom helps me avoid more awkward moments or inaptitude in social situations.
