I was subed to some different DYI type subs like home repair, mechanic ect and people would post a pick of their broken door, plumbing issue, car ect asking what to do to fix it and all the top replies would be a bunch of jackasses who know nothing about tradie stuff but trying to make some smart ass comment unfunny nerd joke to get reddit reps

Reddit is controlled by bots. You can try to analyze it but the reality is that if so-called Russian bots can win trump an election then surely American bots run by and paid for by the DNC on a website who's administration has shown countless instances of being far left can run bots too. If the mainstream media can lie to your face in television then they can create a few bots to manipulate the narrative

A silicon valley tech company who owns the website will have it a billion times easier running bots than a bunch of Russian hackers. They don't need to worry about getting caught or writing some poverty code to scrape the website

The website is bot infested, full of ****** and low IQ europoors, and all the people too stupid to fall for that crap. I mean how else could people be that stupid to hate the rich/capitalism and then support millions of illegals taking their jobs, or billionaires getting massively richer during covid /the great recession. Quality of life keeps going down, the rich keep getting richer and they still believe in the liberals? Something isn't adding up

I only use it for niche things such as homeimprovement or help troubleshooting computer issues. Other than that there is no real discussion. Most subreddits are biased and anyone who isn't part of a certain thinking pattern gets quickly downvoted. People still don't know that the downvote button isn't because you disagree with someone
