It's pretty much true. I get downvoted and banned for practically every comment I make. I'm a liberal conservative libertarian with a small "L", as I don't believe in anarchy which is what being a true libertarianism ends up being in my opinion. I do enjoy videos making fun of the average redditor where they pontificate endless nonsense devoid of meaning. We have online warriors and real life heroes. Most people with clout on reddit would be mocked into oblivion in the real world. They can have their powerless kingdom.

Imagine using reddit for anything other than info on hobbies, niches, or products. These days reddit even sucks at that though, fukking everything is turned into a circle jerk.

I don't disagree with the sentiment, but this screams of "the lady doth protest too much," it's obvious he's probably spent quite a bit of time F5ing and scrolling the pages he apparently hates. It's like writing a 6 page essay on hating the Kardashians.

Two points about the OP, first it does not necessarily apply to smaller subreddits. I found a couple that actually, to a certain extent, go against the popular narrative as well as approved counter-narratives. Second, it looks like the OP was itself written by a pretentious pseudo-intellectual who has been practicing for years on how to write in that manner. Instead of working on a career or an education/career they are online all day and sharpen their internet debating skills for years. That was written by someone who spent years on reddit and was finally ostracized.
