Correct.

We downsized our house, bought more land that was ag exempt, and everything we buy for the farm is tax exempt. I bought large amounts of firewood a few years ago to save on electric and gas, and I now chop a lot of our own and sell some of the extra. The value of the wood is going up and up. Farm and nutrition are considered employment and use office as a tax write off.

We started growing some vegetables and have fruit on the way. We get pecans from a family orchard in San Saba county.

We have a lot of investments that pay dividends, which get put back in to the investments, gold etc. once you are set up, can use some tax tricks for loans against the amounts with extremely low interest rates, which then gets put back into the accounts directly.

Money paid out from life insurance is a different set of taxes that are low as well, so we can borrow from that instead of having to take additional income and take the tax hits.

We do a lot more, but this is a good chunk of it.

I'm over 40 and make 70k. I could probably make more but have a job that I like and I don't have a need for all the BS consoomer goods.

Post a pay stub with a spoon with MISC written on it over your name. Even a screen shot but be aware that google image search is a right click away so no funny business.

I remember one thread like this where of 3 pages and probably 30 people posting only two actually backed up what they said.

The big problem is most Americans aren't taught a lick of this knowledge. Most folks just seem to be getting by. The median household income is $76k.

The closer we approach the uncertainty of life's ending the more we wish to trade all of the things we have acquired in exchange for all of the things we have lost: wealth for youth, knowledge for fresh curiosity, resignation for hope. We'd trade our wisdom for new experiences, but it is wisdom that will teach us that at the end of the road the only new experience is death.

I couldn't imagine making $100k on the coasts. I live in the sticks and there's not a lot left over; well after investing.

Top 5 cities in Kansas have an average home price of $1 million boyo. I complained about this in another thread for the same reasons you just mentioned. Kansas shouldn’t cost that much.

I find that hard to believe but if it's true I'd move to the suburbs...
The average Kansas home value is $218,640, up 4.6% over the past year and goes to pending in around 8 days.

Basically, boosting is the act of improving the standings of a low-ranked player in a game with the help of a professional player. Game boosting is an excellent option for players who don’t have the time to individually grind the ranks or those looking to have a feel of playing on higher ELO inhttps://askboosters.gg/
