Also wanted to say gbullock32 is legit! Love finding threads about prison stories ect… I always know he will be in there. These stories make me miss my past life as a C/O as well. Can't help but laugh at most of them as I have seen a lot of that **** too….

Since a lot of people find this sht funny…

It's 0250 hours and I'm working B Yard as a Security Patrol Officer, basically we just do the counts at night, security checks, some inventories and a bit of paperwork; night shift is pretty fcking easy. I'm counting building 2 at the time when over my radio I hear "All Bravo staff 49 (10-49 is walk to/come to) building 4. We get there, 4 total officers and our Sgt, cell 201 has one of my partners up there and he looks pissed. "You stupid *******, you couldn't wait until tomorrow to kill him! Like I want to deal with this sht right now!" Guess a guy killed his cell mate, so we go up there, guy complies with us cuffing him up and we lock him in the shower as a temporary holding cell while we figure sht out. We go into the cell and this dude had damn near cut his cellie's head off, like the bone in all that's holding it on. Yep, that fcker is dead, so we do the radio call, dispatch an ambulance, ect; we are not qualified to pronounce death so we have to act the part like it's just a medical emergency.

We pull the body out and go get the Stokes Litter to cary him down the stairs and our SGT is yelling at us to do CPR, "Why, fckers dead, ain't bringing that back" he just says he doesn't care, do CPR anyway, we're not doctors so make it look like we tried. OK, fck it. I start pumping on this guys chest and the only thing that happens is what little blood was still inside of him comes spurting out of his neck, I just said fck this, I broke a few ribs, it looks good.

Our on site ambulance gets there and takes him to our on site hospital and then EMS gets there with an outside ambulance. They mad as hell, like you called us for this? Guy is dead! So they pronounced him dead there and left; spent the rest of the night doing paperwork and getting the guy who killed him placed into Ad Seg (the hole)… so much fcking work that none of us wanted to do. All of tis was over a 'disagreement' the 2 had, at least that's all he'd say.

One time I got okie doked hard by another C/O, I was new, mnaybe a month in and working on D yard when there was a riot all the fck way on B yard; so we go and grab the riot equipment, mine was a vest full of 40mm rounds and a single shot 40mm launcher. OG cop looks at me and says "Hey, you want the multi launcher?" it was a 6 shot 40mm launcher, looked cool as hell so I took it thinking I'd be blasting away. We ran about a mile to B yard, all my sht at this point weighs about 40 pounds so I'm burned out by the time we get to B yard and when we do the riot is already over.

Hey since we are there though, we got to provide coverage while they searched and slowly recalled the yard, got suspects and victims sorted, ect. This fcking launcher didn't even have a sling, it's August and 105 and my happy ass got to stand out there holding this sht for 6 hours. I was hating life, never again, I'll take the single shot any time over the multi.

Working D yard, just finishing up breakfast and we are patting inmates down as they exit the dining hall; no food is allowed out. Sudddenly one of my partners is patting down a guy and yells "Weapon!" and he dumps this dude, we all rush over and the inmate is yelling "That's not a weapon, you grabbed my dick you fcker!"

We laughed so hard, help the inmate up, said our bad guy, no injury luckily but man was the C/O embarrassed, we still give him sht over it years later.

At this point, no. See something weird and my only thought is "all right then…."

Medical emergency in Delta 3 at 0500 hours, we go over to cell 123, guy is standing there telling us he needs to go to medical right now. Nah *******, tell us why; he doesn't want to say so we just tell him to fck off and we go to leave and he calls us back over. As he steps back we see why… he was fcking a shampoo bottle and his dick got stuck, he'd been trying for hours to get it out but realized he can't. We called the ambulance, and we just fcked with him while waiting, "Hey, it's been hours, they're going to have to amputate that, w can call you 'the dickless wonder'!" Guy was about to have a breakdown lol, medical just ended up cutting the bottle off, but he got made fun of daily until he transferred.

We also had a guy who transferred in from another prison, he was level 1 but got slammed with a cruelty to animals charge since he killed a chicken at the farm the other prison had. We looked it up; he fcked the chicken so hard it died, ded srs. And so we had "Chicken Fcker!" in Delta 5 for awhile.

Well, we did have one at the State Hospital next door, where they keep chomos who served their sentence but are deemed too dangerous to release, who loved shoving things in his ass. Somehow he got a phone, like a cordless phone, and it got stuck in his ass and it had to be removed in the ER; that was a shtty (pun intended) hospital run… amazing how much a butthole can open up though, it was like the Rancor pit and the doctor just reached in and pulled the phone out.

Gonna nap before a double today but here are some old reports I wrote, redacted some info for confidentiality reasons; this is how thorough they want for basic BS. I get it, but it's still annoying, upside is I am really good at writing reports now, can knock most out in a few minutes. INB4 wall of text.

On Thursday, November 16, 2023 at approximately 1015 hours, while conducting my duties as BFB4 Floor Officer #2, I was conducting a random cell search of BFB4 cell 145, which is occupied by Inmates R (CDCR# XXXXXX, BFB4-145L) and D (CDCR# XXXXXX, BFB4-145U). During the search I discovered four 16 ounce Folgers coffee containers filled with a brown soft mushy substance which has the same sweet pungent smell commonly known as "KICKER" utilized in the production of "Inmate Manufactured Alcohol", commonly referred to as "Pruno". The KICKER material was found in a large clear plastic bin on the bottom bunk. I also found a pillow case of approximately 20 apples located underneath the bottom bunk. Through my experience as a Correctional Officer, I could identify the fermenting fruit as being in the fermentation process of becoming Inmate Manufactured Alcohol (PRUNO) and the accumulation of apple as an ingredient for producing Inmate Manufactured Alcohol. Upon completion of the cell search I asked R and D if the fermented fruit belonged to either of them. R admitted it was his fermented fruit. I maintained sole possession of the substance and notified Sergeant D, Facility B Program Sergeant of my findings. Sergeant B arrived at the building and inspected the contents of the contraband and confirmed the mushy substance to be fermented material consistent with the production of alcohol. I disposed of the contraband per departmental procedures. I informed R he would be receiving a Rules Violation Report (RVR) for 3016(b) [28] The Fermentation or Distillation of Materials in a Manner Consistent with the Production of Alcohol, and any future violations will result in progressive disciplinary action.

On Thursday, August 23, 2018, at approximately 1524 hours I was performing my duties as D Facility Building 2, Floor Officer # 1 and performing a random cell search of cell 202. As I exited the cell I heard the alarm sound in the building and the Control Booth Officer J announce ‘Get Down!’ over the building’s Public Announcement (P.A.) speaker, all inmates with the exception of the combatants complied with the order. Officer C, D2 Floor Officer #2, and I responded together to ‘C’ section of the dayroom and observed inmates G (DFB2-234U, CDC# XXXXXX) and S (DFB2-218U, CDC# XXXXXX) striking each other in the upper torso and facial areas with closed fists under the TV. Officer C and I formed a skirmish line from a safe but effective distance from the combatants and ordered both inmates to ‘Get Down!’ with negative results. A second command to ‘Get Down!’ was given, again with negative effects as both inmates continued to strike each other. Fearing that either inmate would receive serious bodily injury (SBI) should the fight continue, Officer C and I both utilized out Oleoresin Capsicum (OC) pepper spray, delivering simultaneous 3 second bursts to the facial areas of both combatants from a distance of approximately 10 feet. G and S separated but remained standing in bladed stances with their fists raised in an aggressive position. Again the command to ‘Get Down!’ was given, with negative results as both inmates resumed the fight. I utilized my OC pepper spray delivering another 3 second burst to G’s facial area from a distance of approximately 10 feet. Both inmates then separated, but remained standing. As responding staff arrived to reinforce the skirmish line both inmates were given another command to get down, with negative results as both inmates again resumed the fight. Officer M utilized his OC pepper spray, delivering a 3 second burst to inmate S’s facial area from a distance of approximately 10 feet. Both inmates then separated and assumed a prone position on the dayroom floor. I continued to provide coverage as responding staff placed both inmates in restraints and performed clothed body searches for contraband with negative results. Both inmates were then escorted to be medically evaluated without further incident. The OC pepper spray residual on the dayroom floor was cleaned with a mop and hot soapy water.

On Thursday, August 1, 2019, at approximately 0938 hours I was performing my duties as C Facility, Building 3 control booth officer when I heard over my institutional radio for observation to put the yard down. I looked out the back window and observed 4 inmates, later identified by their state identification cards as Es (C2-203U, XXXXXX), De (C2-131L, XXXXXX), Di (C2-104U, XXXXXX), and Ma (104L, XXXXXX) striking each other in the facial and upper torso area on the handball court. As responding staff formed a skirmish line from a safe but effective distance, I ordered the inmates to “Get Down!” with negative results. I gave a second command to “Get Down!”, again with negative results. I then fired one 40mm Exact Impact round targeting inmate Ma in the upper right thigh, my round struck my intended target, due to the round’s velocity I did not see where it came to rest, but my use of force was not effective as the combatants continued to strike each other. I then observed Officer O deploy an OC (oleoresin capsicum) Instantaneous Blast Grenade utilizing an under hand throwing motion, which landed at the feet of the combatants with negative results as the inmates continued to fight. I gave another order to “Get Down!” with negative results and fired a second 40mm Exact Impact round targeting Ma in the right upper thigh. Due to Ma’s erratic movement my round instead struck Ma in the lower right calf, due to the round’s velocity I did not see where it came to rest. My use of force was not effective as the inmates still did not separate. I gave another order for the combatants to “Get Down!” with negative results and fired a third 40mm Exact Impact round targeting inmate Di in the upper left thigh. My round missed my intended target, striking the handball court and bouncing into the soccer field, striking no inmates. I then observed a second OC Instantaneous Blast Grenade being deployed by Officer L using an under hand throwing motion, with negative results. The inmates continued to fight as I gave another order to “Get Down!” with negative results and fired a fourth 40mm Exact Impact round targeting inmate Di in the upper left thigh. Due to Di’s erratic movement my round missed my intended target and instead struck Di in the upper left side of his back, due to the round’s velocity I did not see where it came to rest. My use of force was effective as Di then separated from the fight and assumed a prone position on the ground. The remaining combatants still did not separate as I gave another order to “Get Down!” with negative results. I fired a fifth 40mm Exact Impact round, targeting inmate Es in the upper left thigh. My round missed my intended target and instead struck the handball court before bouncing into the soccer field, striking no inmates. The remaining combatants then separated and assumed prone positions on the ground as responding staff proceeded to conduct clothed body searches for contraband with negative results. I continued to provide coverage as responding staff utilized cover and contact teams to place the inmates in handcuffs and escorted them to be medically evaluated without further incident. I then burned a DVD (digital video device) of the incident from the camera on C Facility building 3, and gave it and the five 40mm casings to Officer D to be processed into evidence per institutional policy. This concludes my involvement in this incident

I just notice how much sht happens to me on Thursdays for some reason.

the way gbullock handles situations at work is most likely referring the inmate to the nutritional section here so they can read the stickies and make an iifym style diet

Inmates got a great dinner today, legit turkey leg, pumpkin pie, dinner roll, veggie mix, stuffing, ham and chocolate milk.

Gotta love the Holidays at work, always drunk inmates, and a lot of overdoses! We do alcohol sweeps but never find it all. Just after we finish our potluck at 1900 I get a call from my SGT asking me to go to another building to check out a drunk inmate, newer guys in there do not know how to handle it; no problem I just walk from building 5 to building 3 to see what's up.

Go to cell 116 with the 2 floor cops working in there and this guy is hammered off his ass, puke all over the cell floor. I call him over "Hey guy, over here!" he stumbles over and keeps his hand on the wall to keep from falling. "How drunk are you and don't fck with me, I'll watch you die of alcohol poisoning."

He said he drank a lot of white lightning, which is pretty much prison moonshine, think Everclear…. he had thrown up all of his dinner and could barely form a sentence, but he said he was good, so fck it. Nothing we can actually do here except check on him from time to time to make sure he doesn't go non-responsive and wait for him to sober up. He asked me "Hey can I get another tray of food, I threw it up", I just told him "fck no, that's on you *******, don't fck the night up any more." Dude shrugged and went down on his hands and knees and started eating the puke off the cell floor, I just said fck it, he's alive, just check him every 30 minutes or so, call me if he stops moving.

Luckily he was alive when we left, looking like he was hating life, but alive. Can't wait for Christmas and New Years!

For those curious, this is a great video on how inmates make alcohol, been tempted to try it but too much work when I can just buy liquor.

And….. I get another death threat last night… I love this sht. When staff gets a threat, you get asked if you are fine to work on that yard (yeah, fck them inmates, they can come and get me), you sign off saying you're fine, then go back to work. Or you bitch out, say you're a bitch and they move you yards. I work my yard, they want me, come and get me, I'll take that ass beating, give me medical retirement, that's 100% pay with no tax or medical for life… bring it.

So some backstory. Inmates cannot have window covers up, the door of a cell has a 5" (ish) by 24" (ish) window in the front, and they are not supposed to block it at all, usually a lot put cardboard or paper up to block any light light, usually half the window, some board up fully, some leave me a 2 inch spot to look through. I do counts at night, I ain't got time to fck with having to try to see into the cell, so if you have anything in the window you get 2 options. Option 1: I tap the window with my flash light and say "Hey, window cover down."…. They take it down, cool, I move on. More often we go option 2… Option 2 is I tap the window, they ignore me, either tell me to fck myself (I will later, don't worry) or they roll over and pull the sheets over their face. Wrong fcking option.

Option 2: I pull out my baton and beat that cell door like it's my dick, *BAM* *BAM* *BAM*, 0 fck given, I will wake up the whole building, that window cover is coming down, I got all night.

Well, I do this sht 3-5 days per week, and they filed on me (grievance forms) but I am in the right so they can kiss my ass. I wake them up every count, *BAM* *BAM* *BAM*, take the fcking window cover down, I'll do this all night bitch. They started throwing in notes in the mail and over the tablet messages they plan to slab me. Eat my ass, stab me, signed off, went through all week slamming doors, "Bitch window cover down, ain't getting rid of me!"

As long as they do not fck up my tattoos when they do stab me I'm good, go for the face, I'm ugly anyways, wont fck up my bad looks.

If I don't get called a "bitch ass motherfcker" at least once per shift I am not doing my job. I'm not sleeping, neither are you.

I see orange peels so the video already looks legit lol. My coworker loves describing the other side of the prison life. Interesting how prison/jail time can affect a person.

Well, last night sucked a bit, worked 2 double shifts back to back, tired as hell and go in for a single shift last night. Nope. Guy ODs and my happy ass gets popped for the hospital run; I was supposed to work 2200-0600… left at about 0930 so an extra 3.5 hours. At least it was OT so maybe $300 or so.

Enjoying a nice cigar before work tonight, I'll add some more stories Mon/Rue when I am off, I'm shot the fck out, worked 83.5 hours this week.

Srs, it's not due to inmates, I expect an inmate to be an inmate and I never take it personally. It's dumbass coworkers. Refer to the post I made earlier about the lost radio antenna, sht like that. I have so many damn stories about coworkers making sht much harder for me.

Also

Fck it I got a few minutes, this is something a friend of mine did, Miller; easily one of the most chill and funny guys I know, but man he does some dumb sht and that's coming from me. Like this guy has personally been the reason for MULTIPLE policies being added stupid.

So he is taking inmates to Receive and Realease to get some special purchases, sht like TVs or radios, or fans ect all get delivered there and we escort inmates from the yards there to get them. Miller has 4 guys, he has them hop on the golf cart to make this go faster instead of walking, problem is one inmate is in a wheelchair and can't fit, so he tells the guy he can take him later, or the inmate can just hang on to the golf cart and Miller will pull him.

Well our roads in no mans land are sht, so as Miller is hauling ass because why not, the wheelchair hits a pothole and flips; the inmate doesn't let go of the cart or say anything (he can't feel his legs) and just gets dragged for about 50 yards before Miller notices. He stops, gets the guy sitting, he's all fcked up, legs road rashed and bloody as hell; Miller just put him back in the wheelchair and pulls him again because he's Miller. They get to R&R and the staff there are like WTF happened, and they call medical; guy had to go to the hospital it was so bad. Miller doesn't get in trouble because there is nothing that says we can't pull an inmate like that…. well they added to policy you CANNOT pull an inmate with a golf cart, ever.

He has a few other golf cart stories, and policies….

What is your opinion of female deputies vs male? I know a female. She thinks she is a hardo, lifts, etc. Got sued for slamming a dude's head against a wall.

Heard females try to come off as hardos.

50/50, some do try way to hard to be hardasses and it makes a lot of problems, like fck take sht down a notch. I'm all for being a dick but when you start screaming at a guy over simple sht when you could just talk to them it causes issues.

Some also only have kick back spots, weekends and holidays off, because you know, them lips do work.

But overall that's both men and women; I know women who are solid as hell as partners, some who are too try hard, some too timid, ect. All comes down to the person.
