5 pitbulls vs silverback gorilla - what wins on land?

size matters, have you seen pitbulls attack bulls or horses and get launced into another dimension? they ARE dumb enough to attack larger animals but they get wrecked when they do
gorillas are super strong and can launch a 60 pound pit bull in the air. Chimps are meaner and more vicious than gorillas though. Chimps will gang up on gorillas fight fight them like 4-5 chimps vs 1 gorilla, surround them and chit. The other gorillas will just watch because they let the alpha do all the fighting but the chimps all the males fight and sometimes the females too.

Silver back gorillas regularly get hunted by leopards which alone should tell you how vulnerable they really are. Pit bulls are bread to kill/fight, they are willing to fight to the death. Five of them can easily pick apart a gorilla.

5 pits that came from Daquarius's basement in the hood, probably not. However, if you look into hunting dogs, that's another dynamic and yes people use pits for that. I've watched some vids of them using them to hunt hogs. Kind of brutal I don't like watching that, even on hogs. I've heard of them being used to hunt bears too.
Anyways, say a group of 5 well bred, well versed experienced pits attacking the gorilla in an open field, it's going to be a fight no doubt. Chances are a a couple or a few dogs are going to be hurt, maybe one killed, but in the end i think they would take the gorilla down.
now 5 kangals or dogo argintinos, maybe even some Cane's, would take out a gorilla no problem. They have almost 3x the bite force of a pit plus a lot larger.

let me guess you also think these kangals could kill a lion. when you hear about breeds like this fighting wild animals they have neck protection and they are there to deter the predator from whatever it is they are guarding. people arent sending kangals out to actually kill things and to bring home a lion carcass

Does the Gorilla have prep time?
Are these just five random pitbulls, or are they a cohesive unit that can effectively communicate battle strategy on the field?
If it's in the open, the pack of pitbulls would chase down the Gorilla until it's exhausted and then move in with overwhelming force.
I imagine two pitpulls would distract the Gorilla, while another two would flank him to suppress it's arms. Then the third can move in for the kill bite.

Gorillas have what, like ten times the strength of a fully grown man? Pitfalls struggle to fight lizards around the same size as them.
A gorilla is almost as big as a person, and could literally rip a man's limbs out or break his spine with ease. The pits might annoy the gorilla and make him bleed, but anyone who thinks this will be anything other than the gorilla killing each pit with a few slaps is deluded.
Now, a gorilla vs a grizzly bear is a good matchup. I give that one to the bear, I think bears might be as strong or stronger and massively size advantaged over the gorilla, with claws and teeth to boot.
