Quincy Jones demanded Billie Jean and Smooth Criminal to be cut from the albums Bad and Thriller. Imagine MJ without those songs lol

MJ's best stuff were written by himself. If anything Quincy is overrated as phuck and MJ is really undermined as a songwriter.
MJ stayed all nights to work with the producers and supervise what he wanted exactly as a sound, thus why he is credited as a co-producer on every song basically.

He seems overrated now because everyone does what he did. But at the time he literally shifted the world musically, visually and physically. He was much more than just a moonwalk.

Not really a Michael Jackson fan but Off the Wall was a great album
