One of my favourite things. I have another chicken and am considering boiling it for soup though. Not sure if this would be a mistake lol

Oh, yeah. The potatoes look sad. But! I boiled it first in a chicken/lemon stock for flavour and softening… and then chuffed up the surface so when I baked it so the outside would be more crispy and crackly. I also doused it with paprika, garlic, thyme and sweet balsamic vinegar. So it looks dark, but it was crispy, soft, and flavourful.

I usually pan sear and butter baste my steaks, or reverse sear. Grill in the summer. What about you?

Oh, I prefer reverse sear or charcoal grill + oven post. I like rubs but also like butter basting with some thyme and garlic. I also salt and do a sugar steak method too for softening/brining and browning purposes. Always needs a mushroom side for me though.

I’ll make a double batch the next time! They are my favourite type of cookies—Scottish short bread. So buttery and not too sweet—they’re a treat to have with coffee.

Nah, really not actually. I've shifted into other tasks and simply don't have the time. It's on the agenda for the future, though. Thanks for asking.
