I don't buy into any conspiracy stuff.


Here's what I think happens.


Somebody at a company hires a few very liberal people. You know how they behave, politically everything they touch needs to support their ideology. If it doesn't, they raise hell against the person who didn't allow them to push their agenda through. As a result, nobody speaks up out of fear.

Eventually these people grow and hire their own kind and they've basically taken over an organization, nobody wants to work for that company and call it out. Once it's lost, it's lost. They'll drag Disney downhill until all they have left is their amusement parks.

Inb4 Luke let's his chest grow out and becomes a transwookie.

No, she has made a lot of television masterpieces about human rights, freedoms etc & has a lot of deserved awards for them. But in her long career she has never directed a major Hollywood film before & it is an odd choice to say the least. It is like doing a radio production of War Of The Worlds & choosing a reporter who goes round the world exposing corruption, human rights abuses etc in charge of it. Having David Attenborough directing a porn film, or plucking a Golf Commentator to commentate on Cricket.

She is one of the best in her field, but this is as far away from that field as possible & as we have seen with another Sci-Fi franchise Dr Who, the viewers have turned off in their droves over the years as the writers, directors & the feminist actress who played it until recently bombarded them with white patriarchy, colonialism, black rights etc storylines & just recently have apparently hired a trans actress & done a trans storyline around her in the show. Sad for those of us who remember the odd witty line/put-down about the government of the day from our childhoods, but it was then just a show for escapism & the story.

The tragic thing is that the visuals and music are fuking amazingon a purely technical level

Imagine being a 3d artist or composer working on this knowing that your life's work is the golden foil wrapper on a dog turd.
