There's a lot riding on this movie being good. 1 bad movie is a mistake, 2 in a row is a pattern. After the 3rd stinker nobody shows up anymore.

The most recent Terminator was pretty decent and it still tanked; too many bad movies before it in the series.

If there was a bizarro universe, where media companies existed simply to piss off their customers and lose as much money as humanly possible, it would simply look like Disney now.

Stockholders need to start suing for breaching of their Fiduciary Duty, as its obvious that they know this crap will continue to fail, but they simply don't care and double down on it. They are using the company to further their own agenda, and throwing away the stockholder's (the actual owners) money down a non-binary, 57 gender toilet.

We took in all the bolsheviks who fled Germany.

I've seen it suggested that the board is replicating Sears. Intentionally driving Disney into bankruptcy with these woke movies so they can buy up the IP cheap when the company gets liquidated.

Interesting choice, she is extremely good at what she does-but that is television documentaries/human interest stories. To have her directing a Hollywood major action franchise seems bizarre. If they wanted a female director, then surely Kathryn Bigelow, Rose Glass etc would be the one to choose, but they don't tick the ethnic box I guess.

Never really was into star wars. I always felt like Star wars fans were bigger nerds than anime fans. That being said, star wars has been done long before dis ey. The rise of the resistance ride at Disneyland is amazing though and I know nothing about star wars
