To be honest, Horizon and Sea of Thieves are easily the best multiplayer games I've played in over a decade. Both are first party.

I know it's in the works, but I'm looking forward for Playstation lads to get a similar experience.

It's easy to check out a lot of games these days, and I generally enjoy doing that. A lot of that is due to Gamepass and PS+ Premium, so yeah, I will play a lot of games for only 30 minutes or so and delete them, but that's only if I don't like them or if it's the type of thing I couldn't get into. I also have a bunch of retro games I play and have a whole bunch of indie stuff on my Switch that's fun for whatever I'm in the mood for whenever. I tend to pick up a lot of stuff I have an interest in during digital storefront sale events, I got a bunch of games on Steam I'll play on my laptop or Steam Deck for niche AA interests here and there.

I just enjoy video games and I have always enjoyed checking out a wide variety of them, and the two best subscriptions right now have made it easy for me to easily check out and keep up with the latest offerings. Even though I have plenty of games I will really get into and put a lot of time into, checking things out has always been sort of a hobby within the hobby. Naturally I am going to be a lot more in tune with the state of the industry than someone who only plays a few games obsessively.

yeah that's why I don't even have Gamepass, I prefer to play a limited amount of games and enjoy them fully (and also don't care about online muntliplayer games)

I don't know I think if someone has a bunch of cheap cars they like there is nothing wrong with that, some of my favorite cars to drive can be relatively cheap or average. Video games aren't the type of thing to be getting all snobby about anyways, most of them sell for the same price new, and seeing how it's all just media whatever people like is about as meaningful as the type of music or TV shows they enjoy. I think it's just all about personal taste and knowing what you like. When people try to get all pretentious about it I always think they're missing the big picture and vainly attempting to prove some asinine point nobody in their right mind should care about.That's cool, I honestly just have a couple of games I will try to really focus on as well. Like I said playing a lot of games is basically a hobby within the hobby for me, I just like to see and experience what is out there so I have a good concept of what everything's like, what my options are, to better focus on what I truly enjoy. It's made it easy for me to brush off a lot of hyped and critically acclaimed stuff these days, basically saving me time and money in the long run. That and I could never really understand the mentality of treating gaming like some sort of chore where you have set goals like 100% completing it, as if that's any kind of real life accomplishment or something. It's just entertainment at the end of the way, and if you want to keep playing a game that desire should come naturally. If I'm tired of something or in the mood for something else, I don't see why I would do anything besides pursue my latest interests.
