I think if Jesus was walking around THAT white compared to all the black and brown people among him there would be distinct mention of it somewhere in the bible.

Or perhaps he wasn't white like that at all and it was just the catholic church trying to sell the idea of jesus to other white people and what better way to do it than to make him white? Jesus certainly wouldn't be nearly as popular if he was depicted as some Akhmed looking brown guy wearing a turban.

That looks like Osama Bin Laden who was half Yemeni. Most Levantine people look closer to Europeans than this. Many of them could pass as southern European.

God created man In his own perfect image. After the fall of mankind in the garden of Eden our appearances like our internal organs became imperfect; genetics compromised and no longer in a godly form. Hence why in Adam and eves time, their children ie siblings could procreate without birth defects.

Anyway, we don’t know what he looked like imo but he had to be closer to gods image than any man ever had since Adam. So makes sense he’d be aesthetically pleasing.
