NEW: “According to your letter, ‘the U.S. Constitution tasks the federal government with… securing the Nation’s borders.’ When were you planning to start?”

Texas AG Ken Paxton responds to threats from DHS— “Your letter misstates both the facts and the law in demanding that Texas surrender to President Biden's open-border policies. Because the facts and law side with Texas, the State will continue utilizing its constitutional authority to defend her territory, and I will continue defending those lawful efforts in court…”

Paxton goes on to “debunk” claims from the federal government…

I can't wait until they start getting dirtnapped. Tyrants deserve the absolute most savage and overpowering backlash imaginable, in order to permanently make them never attempt such usurpation again.

TX AG:
Today, I’m issuing the following endorsements. Texas is under attack, and we must fight to protect our conservative values not only from the Biden
Administration, but from liberal Republicans who enable and allow reckless liberal policies to wreak
havoc on our state and our local communities. If elected, these Republican County Chairs, Judges, and
State Rep candidates will fight every day to defend Texas values. These candidates will stand up to Dade Phelan and his woke agenda that is embarrassing the state

Maybe we can ask the Jewish White House why they are so adamant on letting so many illegal migrants into the US via Jewish NGOs (Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society).

Maybe we can ask the Jewish owned Congress why they keep giving funds to these organizations and why they don't do anything substantial about the influx.

Louisiana rep says Biden is 'staging civil war' by pulling down Texas' border barriers

Representative Clay Higgins (R-LA) posted to X in response to the Supreme Court allowing the Biden administration to have Border Patrol cut down razor wire at the Texas border saying the president is "staging civil war."

In a post to X, Higgins wrote, "Media: ‘Congressman Higgins, the Supreme Court just ruled in favor of the Biden Admin over the State of Texas, saying that the federal government can remove physical barriers at the border put in place by Texas. What are your thoughts?’”

It wouldn't surprise me. Abraham Lincoln use the Civil War to expand the reach, size, and power of the central government by leaps and bounds. They will make this into the similar scenario. Democrats are trying hard to become the savior of minorities like Abraham Lincoln, but with a power grab to boot. It will be known as the new "Lincoln party" that freed the slaves from white colonialism, capitalism etc.

Never underestimate the power of the hate of racists or Bolshevism. The easiest way to start war is with race

The state does not have limited options. Pretty sure we discussed this before, but the state not only has the right to close their borders and ship illegals back to the border (sending to another state is wrong IMO, they should be sent back over the border), but have the obligation to do so when the Federal Government fails to secure the borders. That is because we are a Constitutional Republic in which the states usurp power to the Federal, not the other way around.

If I remember right, in that other thread you disagreed when I posted that only the federal government has control of the federal border.

Not the end of it, but the SC has yet again ruled it to be true. It's been more or less decided that border states don't get to define failure in federal jurisdictions. Kind of a big slippery slope if you consider what liberal states would do with that authority.

It would be interesting if Texas set up their own "border" just outside the 100 mile Border Zone, they could probably legally get away with everything they are arguing for.
