I wonder if this is how a civil war starts?

Feds try and come in and do what they want, Texas isn't having it feds say they have authority to keep border open, Texas closes it by force.

Lots of congressional testimony on record of the Fed’s dereliction of duty in the border, preventing Texas from closing those gaps, and the Fed deliberately preventing Texas from assisting, all for the purpose of increasing illegal immigration. In other words, its a pretty straight forward case, but the Fed will choose an activist court and judge to hear the case, almost guaranteeing Texas’s loss.

If the Fed won’t uphold the law and apply policies as intended, then the states and local government’s have an obligation to do so. That’s the entire point of having states.

Today the state of Texas must allow the federal government access of the riverfront park in Eagle Pass or face a DHS/DOJ lawsuit.

I just talked with Texas DPS who says they are not granting the feds access today—They have had access to the boat ramp since Friday and that’s apparently the only access they’re going to get barring a medical emergency.
