I remember in like 2016 buying a large bake it yourself pizza from Papa Murphys. It was damn good, you add your own extra stuff at home, bake it, and its better than most stores.

last year I tried to go there to get a $5 take and bake. Nope, the cheapest take home pizza they had was fukcing 13 bucks.


Pizza ain't worth it any more, used to be a good cheat day treat, but not even worth the calories any more. Its cheaper (and way healthier) to cook a small steak and veg at home, than it is get a large pizza for $40.

The price has gone up here I used to get a pepperoni from dominos for $5 and it was packed with pepperoni and sauce now it's $7 but they made it really chit half of it is empty dough and they came out with the loaded pepperoni for $11 so people get that instead, still better value than getting any other fast food

I usually pick up a pizza from Punch pizza on the way home from playing music. a margarita pizza with prosciutto, sun dried tomatoes, basil, and olives is around $16. which isn't bad for a fire oven baked pie.

don't call dominos and pizza hut pizza srs. the very worst local pizza shop will have better pizza than chain "pizza"

Brah whole milk low moisture mozzarella is like $8/lb if you get Boars head at a deli and cheaper if you get store brand. Only need like 0.25 lb of cheese or less for a large pizza. Only way cheese is that expensive is if you’re buying Buffalo Milk mozzarella which I know your dumb tradie ass isn’t doing.

Homemade pizza is easy to make and costs like $2-3 dollars max per large (16+ inch). Just need lots of time and patience to make good dough and preheating ovens or getting a pizza oven
