I think my mattress was like $650 at costco. Paying that every 10 yrs is a negligible cost unless you're broke.

One thing I did is upgraded from a queen to king bed, now with all that extra space my girlfriend and I no longer wake each other up.

Sleeping bags are racist though, you have to pay extra for tall versions.
If I try to sleep in a sleeping bag on the ground/floor I can't walk right for days my back will hurt so bad. I'm starting to get old though

I have 2 king size memory foams with cooling. I think one might be 10" and the other 12" I paid around $450 to $500 for each on Overstock.

Can't understand how a grown man has anything but a king size, even if they are an incel and don't have sloots over. Add in sometimes sleeping with another person, and I just don't get why people have smaller beds. Is it to save some money?

Maybe it just doesn't suit you. That being said, sometimes when something hurts, that something isn't what's hurting you and is just revealing existing pain and could actually be helping you even though it's hurting. I feel like a sleeping bag can only help because it forces back sleeping and paired with no pillow equals perfect spinal alignment.

King sized and Queen sized are the exact same length, the only difference is King is wider. The only benefit of King is when adding another person so your post is entirely wrong.

I figured most miscers would be sleeping on a pile of money, surrounded by beautiful women. I sleep on a board with a foam mattress, or the couch if I’m really tired.

As you get older you appreciate a good mattress more, along with good pillows.

When I was 20 I slept on an air mattress and was fine.

The thing is you really have to try these out in person. Nobody can tell you if you’re gonna like a mattress or not. For example so many here have mentioned memory foam mattresses, but I sleep hot as hell and memory foam holds heat, and I don’t like the ‘hugging’ sensation from it.

Others want traditional multi spring mattresses. Some have hybrids. We have a Purple Hybrid 3. It has coils, a layer of cushion, and their gel grid on top. But I had to check it out in person.

It depends on sleep position, your size, if you sleep with someone, etc.
