Intelligence or education alone doesn't decrease their value (depending on what they studied) and can be a boost to value IMO. Her becoming educated and providing for herself initially is a good thing. It shows that she isn't just coasting to find a man to leech off of. She should be willing to become a stay at home mom however if she ends up marrying a guy. Here's my list:

Aside from that there are things that I would look for that would lower a woman's value specifically for me. For example I would not date a Jew, a Muslim, a woman that isn't white, or someone with liberal ideology. Those qualities don't lower a woman's value in general and they could still be very good people. However someone with those qualities isn't going to align with my views and it would create a problem when it comes to how we are going to raise our children.

Even beyond that I have preferences that enhance a woman's value. Big plus if she's into classical music and bigger plus if she's played an instrument. Big plus if she follows sports that I follow (only thing there is I really don't know if I could ever date a Red Sox fan lol; I mean I probably could if she were ideal in every other way I guess). Ideally she wouldn't listen to pop or modern country music either, but I can deal with those. Big plus if she works out, but not a hard necessity as long as she maintains good weight and appearance.
