yep...and of course those working in serving are going to guilt trip people because they want to make $30-40+ an hour...people at almost every job would do the same if it allowed them to squeeze out more money. serving is just the one where it's allowed to guilt and shame people into paying you more for doing your job.

I guess maybe I'm old. Below 15% was seen as schitty in my day, 16-18% was standard, 20% or more would make you feel good. Not sure what you tipped but if it was in the 15-20% range that's standard for simply not bad service.

love how people in serving just pull random numbers out their ass to passive aggressively guilt people to a higher number. 18% is just standard...means you think i did kinda bad...25% now that means you think i did kinda good...35% means you were pleased...50% tip now that really lets me know you appreciated my hard work. lol
