Switching to Fiber from ADSL is always a magical move. Not only due to speed. But the stability of the connection is the thing you notice the most when it rains heavily as fuk or even snows and your connections remain strong as if it were a sunny day. I had a 1gb up/down connection for a while. For browsing, YT, social...etc really 100mbit connection is everything you will ever need. Anything beyond 100mbit will be noticeable once you started grabbing those juicy 100gb+ games.

What people don't realize is that even 10 MBPS is overkill for what most people use from day to day. Technology has been overkill for years.
The performance game changer for me was that some parts of my house didn't have Wi-Fi, probably from all my neighbors interfering. Anyway, this prompted me to wire everything for ethernet and oh lawd my connection is good now. I have 300 MBPS but my 300 on wired definitely performs way better than gigabit on Wi-Fi.

I had a dead spot on the 2nd floor that kept dropping out, probably with all the wifi from neighbors. Got a mesh router setup with 2 units and now I got good wifi all over the house.
