I don't see what your 'life maturity level' has to do with owning a gaming PC or not

Whenever the day comes that you get bored of keeping up withe Joneses bs and don't have the time to, or simply don't feel like committing 5+ hours to playing video games on a daily basis

Between work/studies, SO and training there is only so much time, and I should probably spend it on things that needs doing around the house or at least being social instead of playing games.
I detest sports video games. I have no idea how people sit there and play that chit all day. Sports are boring enough to see on TV as it is, I can't imagine playing simulated versions for hours a day. It was one thing as a kid, but as an adult? I've got other chit I'd rather do, even miscing is better.

Also, like you said, games like that aren't even fun unless you devote a lot of time to getting good. I recently got into the newest Super Smash Bros. a bit, but for what? I've put like 10 hours into over the past couple weeks, so I can get good enough again to compete with my one or two bros who might actually play me once or twice a year? lmao it's such a waste of time when you think of it like that

I think sports games are good when two player and in the same room. When I was a teen I played FIFA and PGA golf with my best friend and we were ultra competitive.

But watching it goes beyond my understanding. I just feel like a lazy kent, sitting there watching other people move.

Consoles are locking fps at 30, or the games can get updated to a point that console can't run the game smoothly. There are ps4 players who get lower frames on nms. Elite dangerous went from updating on all platforms to only releasing pc content.

Console gaming is for getting that old ps2 or 3 out and playing old versions of exclusive titles because you can't play the game on the store or the remaster sucks/is broken.

Playing it with a bro in the same room? Sure. Can't be bothered beyond that. Still won't be very good because that happens so rarely these days

It is easy to say but in the real world it's never this simple. There will come many times where you'll need to use your keyboard and mouse when issues come up on your pc. So you'll need a Bluetooth M+K which you'll need handy, a place to rest them and then go thru the hassle of connecting them when needed. Even when you install a new game there's a ton of settings you'll need to toggle with mouse, not to mention using mods which is one of the points of having games on pc.

There are definite pros of PC over console but ease of use isn't one of them.

Right now I’m playing console. I got back into after my hip dislocated. I chill in my adjustable bed with head and legs up, super comfortable and play. Much more comfortable than sitting at desk with computer. And honestly, that’s the only reason why I do it. Computer has better gaming.
