Miami Butter brah, swordfish and any large predator is loaded with mercury and parasites, bio accumulation brah. parasites may or may not transfer to humans, but I 100% promise you that you are eating eggs/worms if you eat raw swordfish.
Salmon is objectively better than tilapia and catfish. Not many fish have a flavor as strong as salmon as well as a high fat content. Comparing it to generic white flesh fish is a joke. Its in a league with pelagics.

You 100% don't know what you're talking about
Mercury only effects you if you cook the fish. When eaten raw your body doesn't absorb it.
And like I told the other moron. I've eaten raw swordfish hundreds of time in a span of 7 years and haven't been sick.
Wheres the science behind that? I know the real science. Not your Wikipedia trash.

In general, cooking tends to increase the
wet weight concentration of Hg in seafood, though this is almost certainly due to loss of moisture
during cooking rather than any change in the amount of Hg in the seafood itself. Cooking also
tends to decrease bioaccessibility of Hg from seafood, relative to raw seafood, with the more
“intense” the cooking process the less bioaccessible the Hg after cooking (i.e., cooking treatments
in order of most to least bioaccessible would be raw > steamed/boiled > grilled > fried).

Most salmon that you buy in the store is farm salmon.
While I agree that there are better fish, salmon is great for sushi. When oven baked, I prefer trout over salmon, even though the two are very similar.
I actually hold the atlantic cod is very high regard, cooked correct it's very good.

We eat a lot of salmon fishcakes at the moment, as our daughter likes them. She likes them made with "the pink fish".

Salmon melts in your mouth when cooked right. It's basically a delicacy. Tilapia is for poor people. Poor nutrition and farmed raised in nasty locations.

The source of salmon is super important and important in all fish.
Farm raised salmon should be avoided at all costs. Farm raised salmon is one if the most toxic foods on earth. Dead srs. Plus the ocean can be toxic.
Deep water fishes are safer.
Swordfish is my favorite and it's one of the healthiest. And yes I eat it raw.

Pan sear salmon with skin on, basting with the butter every minute or so. Start skin side down for 2/3 time, flip for the last 3rd (cook time depends on size of the fillet.
Lmao at comparing generic white flesh fish, and bottom feeders at that to salmon. If you were gonna say speckled sea trout or something at least you’d have an argument

Imagine choosing bottom feeding tilapia with 2g of Omega-3 per serving while high in Omega 6, versus chad King Salmon with 15g of Omega-3 and higher in vitamin D.

why do people act like they're too good for "bottom-feeders" like catfish? You eat pork and they eat trash and feces. What's the big deal?
Catfish is delicious and I prefer it braised with soy sauce.

Alaskan King Salmon (when in season) and coho salmon are the best for protein-per-ounce and omega-3s. Excellent taste when cooked properly but unfortunately people tend to overcook it and complain about the taste and texture.

lol at Catfish and Tilapia tasting better than Salmon. Tilapia is digusting you gotta put a lot of seasoning and stuff to make it taste good
backed Garlic Butter salmon filet is delicious, no fishy taste, also pan seared or deep fried salmon with the crisp salmon skin dam that is delicious with steam rice and sautee spinach or brocolli
